Mods to Vanilla

I've played with mods since I began playing this game. Just recently switched to a new pure vanilla profile and it is amazing. With mods I would get some random crashes and FPS drops. Playing vanilla is a smooth experience.

Like you, when I run into issues with compatibility after updates...and I guess if I were doing convoy may be more likely to go vanilla when mods clash.

I only use two mods. 1, Apple navigation with Siri (hate the default navigation voices and it looks cleaner) 2, Cipus Real Traffic Density as the world can feel a little empty at times. Other than that I'm completely vanilla, no issues with crashing or bugs and it plays like a dream on max settings.

I wouldn't mind (in principle) going back to "vanilla", but there's a lot I'd miss... like fixes on roads/maps, additional cabs/options, or whole trucks and trailers, or simply gadgets/tuning... already culled about 50 mods from my list, but it's getting harder to retire more, to get significantly below 50...
