I think that's the plan. Volvo update, MAN older trucks are said to be updated as well with a tuning DLC coming along. More will come in the future.Shadowstyle wrote: ↑24 Mar 2023 19:23 Personally still sad that the TGX was delayed but i feel like before adding new stuff they should go ahead and rework all of the old models to make them up to today's standarts

Re: Next ETS2 truck speculation
Just for curiosity, as it seems I've missed some announcements.
SCS has said something about the MAN being delayed? Or it's the usual random release date guessing of some people?
And what's about that Volvo update?
Regards

Re: Next ETS2 truck speculation
Pavel mention there was a delay of some sorts but nothing else, Volvo get rebuild because we get the FH5, and the new parts will be added to the FH4, like the DAF XF E6 and Renault T Evo, but with a vastly better base model

I think the new Man was delayed because they didn't give scs some information/cad files they needed, not sure about it.
Btw i hope the dlc is the New MAN or a new truck and not Wielton

I can't remember quotes but the feel is that we got a delay but there will be more included hinting at a tuning DLC.

Re: Next ETS2 truck speculation
But as far as Iveco is concerned, how likely is it that they will license SCS for the Iveco S-Way?
Several times I have tried to buy an Iveco truck, obviously at stake, and I have always resisted the temptations. Not because I don't like them, but knowing that they have never undergone an engine level upgrade and, perhaps they will never have an aesthetic tuning dlc, I don't want to drive one.
I don't have an issue with the SCS, don't get it wrong, also because it can't do much without various licenses and permits, but I have an issue with Iveco.

Re: Next ETS2 truck speculation
SCS of course will want to license it. They already have older Iveco trucks licensed when things were rougher for SCS (they were previously using fake brand, the company was smaller thus probably not able to pay so much...). So, it's not that Iveco doesn't want to license for games. If we still don't have the S-Way is probably more a bureaucratic thing than anything else.
I recall have read that Iveco company has been changing hands or has being restructured or something that way. I recall also SCS talking about sometimes that kind of changes affects them because sometimes it forces them to start over all the licensing process and/or gaining the trust and attention of the new licensing responsible staff in the new company.
It could be what's happening here.
