Game freezes and closes down.
Game freezes and closes down.
Driving in Bulgaria close to Turkey I experience that the game stutters for a microsecond only to freeze up. After about ten seconds the game just closes down. Windows 10, updated. Game updated. Drivers updated. No mods at all. Have verified the files twice and nothing is corrected.
Game log. https://pastebin.com/EMRcyuwh
Game crash log. https://pastebin.com/tGbU184T
Can not recreate it. It just happens random. No screenshot, sorry.
Edit. Misspelling...
Edit 2. Added info about verified files that I forgot to mention first time.

Re: Game freezes and closes down.
Go to steam and right click the game go to properties then to local files and click Verify integrity of game files this will scan and re-download missing or corrupted files
Re: Game freezes and closes down.
I am sorry. Forgot to post that I have done that twice already and nothing is detected that way.
Re: Game freezes and closes down.
Still hoping that someone can answer?
Have not touched the game since I wrote the question. Really want to continue playing..

Re: Game freezes and closes down.
I don't see the slightest error indication in your log, until the crash occurs:
I don't know if this error is really indicating a shortage of memory, though it might do.
32698M is way less than 4GB RAM. 4GB is the minimum system requirement for the game, according to the Steam store. But if this really the cause, I can't say.
Code: Select all
d:\buildbot\slaves\win_slave\final_build_ets2_146_windows_bin_steam_x64\build\prism\src\p3core\collections\arrays\arrays_base_impl.h(573): ?index_of@?$array_t@Udx11_buffer_storage_t@prism@@@prism@@QEBA_KQEBUdx11_buffer_storage_t@2@@Z: Iterator outside array boundaries.
Code: Select all
00:00:00.001 : [mem] physical total: 32698M
00:00:00.001 : [mem] physical avail: 23749M
Re: Game freezes and closes down.
@Reinhard You've had a math blooper there. 32698 is 32GB of RAM.
@Ralleva Try setting these to 0 in your config file:
00:00:02.941 : uset cf_asus_aura "1"
00:00:02.941 : uset cf_razer_chroma "1"

Re: Game freezes and closes down.
Not for the first time, I'll hasten to admit. Anything above 8GB is beyond me.
BTW: I'd really like to know what problem is behind those two "cf_*" settings, and if it still apllies, after so much time.
And also I would like to know if short system RAM can really cause more than performance problems. The log talks about virtual memory since *ages*. I that is properly used, there should never be a crash caused by low physical RAM. At least in theory. Is virtual memory really used?

Re: Game freezes and closes down.
Hmm. Gonna try but how do I edit the config file?
Tried to run the game in OpenGL but same thing there.
Re: Game freezes and closes down.
Any text editor can open the config file.
