SCS General Discussion Thread
Re: SCS General Discussion Thread
I wonder about a couple things. A few months back scs was at western star to record engine sounds, wonder if one of the things is new sound for the 49x, 57x, 5700xe. Also, it was mentioned in a stream that there was one other truck that had cab suspension, could the 49x have that with this change?
In a world full of swift drivers, I'm an O/O.
Re: SCS General Discussion Thread
If the games will be advancing to another level (at least open more doors with the engine update)......................one thought I always hope to see SCS do is allow people that don't have much interest in using a semi, to allow them to use other forms of vehicles or trucks.........basically Class B to keep it part of the current game. I don't know the equal in Europe but for the US Class B could work. That validates driving school too. What if SCS really pushed truck simulation and did Class A and Class B. That's what comes to mind with today's blog if its about HH. Whether I'm off or not doesn't matter. WS could totally want Class B in ATS. If rigids ever become a thing in ETS2, ATS has equals but just not as common.
With the way WS is all over SCS, they'd be perfect to bring the 47x and 49x vocational dumper and concrete mixers. We already have depots for both. SCS would just need to create a few more depots that only apply to Class B. That emphasis the construction industry more. Maybe this gets in city street deliveries. This could get more people playing the games if there is a tad more variety of driving options. This is similar to what Snowrunner does. They have vocational and a semi trucks with a trailer. Imho, WS is the prime candidate to get licensed 47x/49x vocational trucks in traffic while we get to also drive them if we choose. Now I have zero interest in Class B but that doesn't mean others feel the same.

My post are only thoughts and ideas. Don't assume it makes ATS.

6 is almost 5, 13 is almost 11, 17 is almost 19, 33 is almost 34. That was close enough!
Re: SCS General Discussion Thread
Just wait and see the absolute meltdown people will have if rigids first appear in ATS instead of ETS2. Although it would be nice and some wouldn't people mind, SCS would pretty much sign their death sentece with that one. If they already have their hands full with one particular user causing chaos for them on the blog, imagine hundreds if not thousands more.
Re: SCS General Discussion Thread
Hey, look at that, finally we agree on something again!
But i'm sure SCS knows that and if rigids ever come, they will come to both games at the same time, Rigids/BDF for ETS2 and Straight trucks for ATS.

It would have to be at same time.

I seriously doubt SCS has their hands full with this person lol. They are just an immature disgruntled little person that their mother had to tie a steak around their neck for the dog to play with them....
Re: SCS General Discussion Thread
Yeah I have to agree that SCS is signing their deaf certificate if ETS2 doesn't get rigids in the same update as ATS. Now ATS could get it a week or 2 early, until ETS2 gets open beta. ATS being the smaller player base typically gets to open beta first. Typically ATS also has maps that release first so ob needs to come to the game that is releasing the map first. ATS also is tested with less people so easier to get manageable bugs knocked out first before more of the community can such as the ETS2 fan base. I honestly wouldn't have an issue if ETS2 got rigids a whole update before ATS but the one thing that can't happen is ETS2 pushes to the following update.
