Ok, it feels not correct to say this is "Bytraktorer" and it sounds strange. Anyway close this topic due to it was not clear enough and it was intended.

Old thread, but yes, I can confirm that the word of choice is indeed intentional, and it is a commonly used expression for SUVs. It is pointing at the obvious irony that most SUVs are driven by soccer moms in the cities, while they clearly belong in the countryside, preferably where they would be used on farm roads, pulling horse trailers etc..

It may not be 100% formally perfect, but after 7 years and thousands upon thousands of translations, I will take some liberties from time to time, to spice up the game a little. You may call it a tiny little easter egg, if you want.

Throwing in the cargo cottage cheese, which is translated into "hytteost" in Norwegian. It is a correct translation, but Norway has never translated it. We use the English name cottage cheese too.

Yep, it looks like it's either "Hytteost" or "Cottage cheese".

From this Wikipedia article in Norwegian:
https://no.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hytteost

Also from Store norske leksikon:
