Steppenwolf - Born to be wild.

This song is always associated by me with going quickly, as it was used in a Anti-Speeding campaign on tv when I was just a little gobbler. They showed that guy racing down the road and having a fatal accident (staged of course)... But somehow, I just memorized it as "Running on a highway, looking for adventure" equals speed. Which is not too far fetched anyway, if you think about it

If I'm driving in California the playlist has to include I Can't Drive 55.
Especially for a drive up to Fresno I need to make sure Studebaker is up to remind myself of just how good everything is.
Sure we don't have anything east of Texarkana yet but Eastbound and Down is always a good driving song.
We won't get WV for quite a while yet but Take Me Home, Country Roads is always good on backroads.

I've been listening to a lot of 80s rock while driving around ATS recently but it's really such a relaxing game the playlist depends more on the mood I'm in than the game I'm playing.

I don't have a particular favorite Fahren song, it's a compilation of various artists from the 60s and 70s. These songs were all on 2 cassettes from my father, which he always played when we drove in the car.
Since in the car the full concentration should be on the traffic, German-language songs are an absolute taboo for me in the car, because then I'm tempted to pay attention to the lyrics. In the car, your full concentration should be on the traffic.
