Short tag axles to make a comeback

Would like to see the re-introduction of short tag axle chassis.
In the UK (at least) the vast majority of tag axles aren't any longer than a mid lift but since the introduction of the New Actros a few years ago all new trucks added have the LWB tag axles.

All trucks prior to the Actros had standard length tags.
Can you go back to that or a least add the option for a SWB or LWB tag chassis?
