SCS General Discussion Thread
Re: SCS General Discussion Thread
What I find interesting about this billboard stuff is that before all this happened,I mean the blog post about it,there were only few comments about it and they were all positive I think at least,so before that blog post no one was complaining about it,but the moment that blog post went live......

Yes, because it was barely noticeable, and the people who did notice it were trying to figure out if it was a mod or not. The blog post made it into a big deal.saur44l wrote: ↑10 Jun 2023 20:10 What I find interesting about this billboard stuff is that before all this happened,I mean the blog post about it,there were only few comments about it and they were all positive I think at least,so before that blog post no one was complaining about it,but the moment that blog post went live......

Re: SCS General Discussion Thread
no it didnt, and nobody tried figuring it out if it was a mod or not, why should a modder add Texas ads and the Kenworth W900 100th Anniversary Edition Billboard as a mod to the game?

Re: SCS General Discussion Thread
I have this folder, but it's empty and the boards display the images I mentioned before.
Again, I'm talking about it, not complaining or being bothered. See you tomorrow.

Re: SCS General Discussion Thread
If you read the comments on Steam you'll see that a good portion actually thought it was because of mods... Not everyone spends all day playing Euro Truck / American Truck to know these details and honestly I didn't even know what Schneider National was, not everybody lives in USA and drives a truck to know it and most people just want to drive from point A to point B.xXCARL1992Xx wrote: ↑10 Jun 2023 20:45 no it didnt, and nobody tried figuring it out if it was a mod or not, why should a modder add Texas ads and the Kenworth W900 100th Anniversary Edition Billboard as a mod to the game?
A great example is the amount of people asking for an option to disable ads... 99% of the problems SCS creates could be solved with a decently written post.
Now I understand why Steam threads are much more active than here, if you say something that makes the die-hard SCS fan even slightly uncomfortable, you are committing a war crime
Re: SCS General Discussion Thread
Yeah right, like the Steam discussions aren't the literal definition of a war zone...
