Export - Tool packing the whole base

#1 Post by Polaco » 20 Nov 2023 18:43

Hello,

I'm using Blender 3.6.5, and conversion tools 2.14.

I extracted all the base files with scs_extractor, and converted them to mid-formats with converter_pix (.pmd to .pim).
So, from those files, I imported the DAF Intake and changed some textures, and I tried to export with the following settings:

Unfortunately, when I click "PACK MOD", a prompt shows up and start to list every file inside the base, and it takes really long to finish (to the point I cancelled before it was done). No, no issues with processing time on my machine, but I really think the tool is trying to pack the whole base again.

Is there something I'm doing wrong, and anyone here could please help?

That means that your project path must have been in the base path.
Make sure your project is seperate and it will only pack what is necessary.

Thanks for your help!

By the way, at Blender, I would say there are 2 paths to be set (correct me here):
1) On "Tool" section, there is "SCS Project Base Path";
2) On "Output" section, there's "Default Export Path".

Which one do you refer to when you say "project path"?

Edit: Solved
Make 1st as project path (not base) and second as the direct path to .pim file.

Thanks again Madkine!
