So I actually drove to the building I was talking about before, the building that looks super iconic on the intersection between I-44 and Kansas Expressway / Hwy 13 in northern Springfield.
I remembered that it glowed, but had not seen it glowing since I was a kid, and everyone else seemed unconfident, so I just drove there myself and can now confirm it does glow.
I dunno if SCS always gets to see these places at night, since street view data is obviously only during the day. But I took a picture so it can be used as reference.

In Springfield, I am hoping that Bass Pro makes the game. That place is almost like a city within a city. It's the headquarters of the major sporting goods store. They have a ton of sporting goods items, a museum, several fish aquariums, even a few restaurants! I took some pictures for SCS for my neck of the woods, but as I am practicing scaling, some of mine might not make the game. When you come along I-44 and cross US 61-67, you can see on the northeast side of the interchange that there is a Walbert and several restaurants. It would be an SCS first if they make that as a two-function location, a rest stop and a deliverable Walbert. Xefjord, I assume you have been to Branson. SCS went there as well. Now due to the smaller scale city there, it might be tricky to model when it comes to having a deliverable place. At the Grand Country Village, I thought that the oversized instrument hanging through a window at the Grand Country Fun Center was a bass guitar, but I learned that it was the fretboard of a banjo. The reason why I came up with the idea of coming up with a parody name for Grand Country Village "Big Guitar Village" is because in country music, the popular instrument in country music is the guitar. Each time I hear the 12-String drive on a guitar record, I think of riding in a big truck.

I am hoping that Branson does make it into the game.

Lindbergh Blvd. from just north of I-270 all the way down to South County Mall, US 67 follows it all the way. Here is what I am thinking but we never know if it will make the game. In the St. Louis area, most of the way from as far west as Gray Summit, it's still country until you reach 141. 109 doesn't even go to I-64. But MO route 340 does, but 340 doesn't go to 44. Algong 100, it is really one SCS mile using the 1.20 map scale from I-44 to MO 141. And from there to Hanley Road, it is 3.3 miles using the 1.3 scale or a half a mile using the 1.20 map scale. So here is what I am thinking for the highways:

I-64 (US 40) from I-70 to Chesterfield Parkway W which is just west of MO State route 340.
I-64 (US 40) from Hanley Road or Big Bend to Kingshighway in the city and then from Vandeventer on past the river.
MO route 100 from I-44 to Hanley Road
US 67 from at least I-270 to I-55, and then from route M to Arkansas border.
I-55 from US 67 to route N, then from 67 on down to the Arkansas state border.
I-270 from the river to US 67.
I-255 form I-55 on into Illinois
MO 231 from River City Casino Blvd., to what is really US 61-67 but in the game we could make it hook up to I-55.
MO State route 76 from US 65 (old route) to MO 248
Mlo State route 744 is Kearny Road in Springfield. Springfield must have Kearney Road, Sunshine Blvd., Glenstone Blvd., and also Campbell Avenue.
Business Loop 55 from I-55 near Jackson to I-55 near Scott City
MO State Secondary route K (Williams Street) from I-55 to MO state route 177 (Sprigg Street).

When I saw a prediction map of St. Louis, Branson, and Springfield, I noticed that what I saw looked to me like Lindbergh (US 61-67) coming up from South St. Louis County, and then a jump over to where I-270 is at. The artist did a splendid job in creating W 76 Country Blvd. and he managed to get in I think route 165 and 265 as well. I haven't seen the one for Cape yet. When I said running 67 from I-55 up to 270, it's I-55 which is really in Mehlville and would run up to where it meets I-270 in Hazelwood. the Innerbelt is the highway that parallels I-170 from I-270 down to what I call US 40. That highway almost goes in a straight line from 270 down to 70 and then does a shallow S turn down to 40. The highway is pretty close to Hanley Road, and then near 40, it's close to Brentwood Blvd. And it's why I wanted the Innerbelt to be out of the game. Hanley Road does a better job in running north and south. Between 40 and Manchester, it's pretty industrialized. Then by the airport, once it crosses 70 heading north, it becomes industrialized again. There is a major pharma corporation on both sides of I-70 near Hanley Road.

St. Louis is also known for making coffee. There is Kaldi's Coffee Roasters, Ronnoco Coffee, and Dubuque Coffee Company.
