With 1.51 we saw in ATS the change to more realistic mirror FoV, essentially in layman's terms, the mirrors are more zoomed in and show a little less of your horizontal surroundings.
I love this change as anything that adds more realism is great and it's easier to see things like how far your trailer is and how close cars behind you are.
(I would like to see this change come to ETS2 too but that's another topic

With this change though it's now more important than ever to also remember looking in your small convex mirrors too, in order to see cars in your blind spot, or to get a wider view to see your trailer isn't hitting a pole or something when making a sharp turn.
However without fancy shenanigans like head tracking this is often a bit of a hassle to have to do, and even if you manually move the camera view over to your right it's still a very small mirror being so far away from you.
Thankfully SCS already has a solution for this in place with the usage of F2 (or whatever key you bind it to) to show your main mirrors on the side of your screen as a UI overlay.
However this solution only shows the main mirror and I think it would be really useful to see the small convex mirror here as well.
It would look something like this: [ external image ] As you can see, in the small mirror you can see a car you would miss in your large mirror.
This change might not be wanted by everyone as some people already find the UI mirrors to take up too much space, and this would make it even bigger, so I also propose making it a toggleable setting for those who do not wish to see the small convex mirrors on their UI, probably in the "Interface" tab: [ external image ]
With the setting off it would function identical to how it is now.
Let me know what you think with the poll above!
