Northeast or New England DLC ideas
Now I am not sure if several of the smaller states will be combined into one DLC, but under the current scale, there might not be room for all of the cities in the smaller states. New York Pennsylvania, and maybe New Jersey may be some of the biggest along with the state of Maine. That area is old truck haven for those in the trucking industry. Pennsylvania is known as the Pine Tree state. The grand thing about ATS compared to reality is that if it comes to making a delivery of subway/elevated rapid transit vehicles, you would get to make the delivery by truck. In reality, it is mostly shipped by rail.
The state of New York has the famous Niagara Falls, it is home to Syracuse University of New York which is in both Syracuse and Oswego, and there is the famed Big Apple. Pennsylvania is home to where there are at least a couple of cities that has a few streetcar or tram lines that never did close. That is both Pittsburgh and also Philadelphia. Philly is home to the Wanamaker store which is owned by Macy's and also home to the Organ Historical Society which is a museum. There are some main highways that connect the states in the Northeastern section of the US. They are I-70, I-76, I-80, I-90, and I-95. Texas and the states on the west coast are not the only states that has shipyards. New York City and Boston, Massachusetts has several. In the Big Apple, there is a very tall lighthouse was built in tribute to the over 1500 souls that lost their lives on the fateful night in 1912.
I am sharing my knowledge about places that I know of when it comes to cities and towns that I have visited as well as some of the cities that I know pretty well even that may have been seen on the news.
Niagara Falls, NY
Oswego, NY
Syracuse, NY
New York, New York
Philadelphia, PA

The aquarium at Niagara Falls I remember quite a bit from when I went there at the age of 13. I think I saw a dolphin show there.

The city also has the famous Rainbow Bridge. But I am not sure if they allow trucks on it or not. I didn't see any signs saying no trucks but I did see a sign saying no buses.
New York State route 104. The highway is Oswego's main road. In western Oswego, 104 is W. Seneca Street. East of Hillsdale Avenue, 104 joins West Bridge Street. Then after you cross the Oswego River, it becomes East Bridge Street. And the numbered streets are named pretty weird. On the west side of the river it's West 1st Street all the way up to W. 8th Street. On the east side of the Oswego River it's East 1st Street and as you work your way east, the numbered streets goes all the way up to E. 10th Street. Now west of Hillsdale Avenue, there is a 3rd Avenue, 4th Avenue, and 5th Avenue.

Oswego Power When I flew there in 1975, I remember riding a bike in the parking lot and could see the power plant.

Now when I flew to Oswego and of course the airlines went only to Syracuse me and my grandmother with my aunt missed the direct flight and had to transfer in Pittsburg. The airport wasn't as big as it is today. I had my guitar on board in the luggage hold on the plane. And I wasn't sure if there was another plane ready to take off and the plane I was on landed pretty hard and the ground crew treated the luggage like if they were children's toys and acting like toddlers on the tarmac. I was worried about my guitar.
But here is an aerial view of Pittsburgh International Airport Cargo area:

As for Philly, while it is very difficult to make a delivery in the downtown area as there is very little space, I think Wanamaker might be the only place that is on 13th Street may be ok. I am not sure but maybe it's worth a shot.

Re: Northeast or New England DLC ideas
Now although I have never visited New York City, but I think along the Hudson River between Manhattan, New York up to Burlington, Vermont, there may be some shipyards. Now New York City is home to many corporate CEO offices which those would be grand delivery destinations when it comes to making deliveries from 42Print. It is also home to many, many Broadway shows. And like i say when it comes to delivering to a theater, there are more than just food items. Many stages in Manhattan, New York seem to be made of marble or terrazzo or something. When I was a kid, I used to see reflections of the dancers on the stage on TV. So really from Cheemes, a load of cleaners, solvents, and polishes might make a good truck load.
This is the loading dock to I think the Richard Rodgers theatre:https://www.google.com/maps/@40.7585796 ... &entry=ttu
Here is the Woodland Heavy Rail Facility. Although for other locations you would like to have them share with you that might be able to fit the game, all you do is to contact SEPTA. They would take new train wheels and other types of heavy equipment such as machines for SEPTA to have so that they can fix anything that may be broken on the system.
https://www.google.com/maps/@39.9412032 ... &entry=ttu
The Northeast corridor also may have some truck museums. There is a truck movie maker by the name of Lindsay Crawford who also lived in one of the states who filmed several old trucks. Several of the old trucks he has filmed are in New England.
Mack Experience Center

The Mack trucks Historical Museum has a ton of ideas for older trucks. Stuff the factories won't give you.

Now since Washington, DC is our nation's capital, I think that deliverers can be made to a place off of Shepherd Parkway. And I think they may have trucks of their own to take it from there.
Capitol delivery site:

Even in Providence, Rhode Island there are some offshore shipping companies. Here may be one of them:

Atlantic Logistics may be similar to the ones in the San Francisco Bay area of California. Atlantic Logistics is in New York City.

Now once we reach the northeast area of the US, there is a very nice trucking company where one of it's drivers is on YouTube and very nice to his audience. They mostly deliver refrigerated goods which is mostly frozen food, or other perishable food items.
http://adltransportinc.com/
As also the northeast area is pretty heavy on public transit, there is however a Siemens plant in Sacramento, CA. Amtrak has several shops where you can deliver passenger rail cars in New York state. I-80 seems to be THE road that would take you straight across. However around the Great Lakes area, it joines I-90 for a little bit. But then just southeast of Cleveland, it takes of on it's own again. As for now, it seems that Gillig is also the only bus plant that is in a state and could be located in a part of the base game. Centro of Oswego and Syracuse, and I think Albany has bought several Gilligs. Some schools in the state of Maryland that also might be customers of Gillig.

Re: Northeast or New England DLC ideas
Sometimes the players pick up freight at shipyards where big cargo ships bring in freight to deliver. Ships however while traveling on water at 25 miles an hour are downright troublesome to stop compared to a truck on a highway. The Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute is both a school, and a science museum that deals with ship travel. I think on Google Maps that there might be a place to where players could park to make the delivery or where freight would be transferred off of our trucks onto the school's trucks and that is on the grounds of the steamship ticket office. Woods Hole is located in Falmouth, MA.
Here is the sky view of that location:
https://www.google.com/maps/place/Woods ... FQAw%3D%3D
Just to be on the safe side on if they want to be in the game, and where would they want the players to park to make the deliveries, go to their website and send them an email.
https://www.whoi.edu/
Several office oriented stuff from 42Print would be great items to deliver to that place such as paper or even office furniture. Also some engine parts for their expedition boats.
The place is reachable by MA state route 28 and also by I-495.

In Baltimore, there is another offshore shipyard where players can drop off cargo. The true name of that port is Seagirt Marine Terminal Port of Baltimore. They are just off Broenight highway.

Re: Northeast or New England DLC ideas
When I called the title of this thread Northeast, is because of a corridor Amtrak runs. And of course in the game, that is TrakUS. In both Chicago and in Poughkeepsie, New York, there are Amtrak maintenance shops. Pentrex has a cab ride video on a turbo train route and the highway that serves the repair shop for both Amtrak and New York City MTA's Metro North commuter railroad, is US route 9. US route 9 can be reached by I-84 or other US or New York state routes branching off of I-87. Route 9 can also be reached from I-90.

Re: Northeast or New England DLC ideas
Pittsburgh is sometimes called the City of Steel. Located at 1000 Village Drive is the Port Authority light rail yard and shops. Across Village Drive is the South Village shopping Center. Trucks I think park at the south end of the light rail shops.
Port Authority shops:
https://www.google.com/maps/@40.339573, ... FQAw%3D%3D
PNC Bank has a corporate office located right at the Monongahela River
https://www.google.com/maps/@40.4358922 ... FQAw%3D%3D
Now if you want to deliver food items, paper products to a sports stadium, here is the Pittsburgh football stadium truck entrance:
https://www.google.com/maps/@40.4481161 ... FQAw%3D%3D
Now the Macy's Department store in downtown Philly and also in Manhattan (New York City) may be hard to get to, but they should be declared as deliverable historic sites. The one in Philadelphia is home to a very large pipe organ, and the one in New York City is a testament to both Isador and Ida Strauss who were the couple that died on the Titanic.
The northeastern region of the United States is littered with truck museums. Imagine all the chemicals that any transport museum needs to keep their exhibits looking beautiful. So that would call for many deliveries to come from Cheemes. Also some cargo ideas would be old abandoned trucks to deliver to the museums.

The issue with New York are parkways since no trucks are allowed.
