May be there is such a limit in GTS, too? I never played it, only cannibalized the GTS base for ETS 1 mod backports. When I finally owned hardware good enough for GTS, ETS 2 was already present, so I skipped GTS.
I would try to temporarily disable other trailers, that should tell you if my idea is valid, or nonsense.
I forgot to mention. Trailer Traffic Mod's maker forgot to put "car_transporter_traffic.sii" and "gooseneck_traffic.sii" lines to the "trailer_traffic_storage.sii" file. So the reason why Car Transporter is not hooked up by AI Trucks. Same thing is for Gooseneck Trailers as well.
