CA-58 @ CA-99 is a scale issue. Doesn't matter really what's going on in real life. 1:20 is the problem.

Interstate 11, US 95, and Nevada/Arizona Rework Ideas
Due to a post merge, my note regarding what I was trying to do here is removed. On with the research!
In May 2024, Interstate 11 was officially extended over and beyond Interstate 515, thereby eliminating I-515 permanently from the road landscape in Las Vegas. Given that we have completed most of the California Rework project, with the exception of one little area I have noticed did not get touched, it is my suspicion that area is now, well, going to get touched. Interstate 11 runs nearby. As such, it is currently worth discussing the new highway.
As of today looking at the information compiled on the Wiki page, the highway now terminates at SR 157 west (Kyle Canyon Road) / Sunstone Parkway, This provides access to Reno and Mount Charleston. More on this later.
The first thing I would do is take the Mike O'Callaghan–Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge and plop it correctly on the state line (where our Las Vegas currently sits). I would then add the interchange network of Exits 2, 14, and 15, allowing US 93 Business to properly split (scenic town of Boulder City) and US 95 to be created to connect to a new I-40 interchange for Searchlight at exit 133; Searchlight itself is a new scenery city in Nevada (note that Needles is represented already for US 95 south to Blythe; more on that interchange later; also, I-40 is presently boring in California, so this is sorely needed). In addition to US 95, a secret road extension to meet it where US 95 is also part of CR 66 itself is also viable.
Considerations could be made for a way to add Henderson, possibly connecting it to I-215 whose interchange forms Exit 23 on I-11. I-215 then ends at I-15, and that's that. We then cross to the area already represented, but Interstate 11 would have to replace the I-515 on the map and Las Vegas itself would have to be moved and potentially rebuilt (RIP Fluffy Razors performing "tonight"?).
Exit 76 is already nicely represented on the map but should now be Exit 37, and can be retained in its new location wherever it goes. This is an important change.
The exit to Rancho Drive (US 95 Bus) already exists but should now be Exit 40, and I-11 would go through with US 95 itself diverging to the north (signage may be enough if we cannot build this, but we really should complete this highway correctly). We do not have Rancho Drive itself meeting the I-15, which could be a better choice than putting other exits in the middle of the city where the I-15 runs through (but hey, maybe they could still fit since they are there and depending on what goes into the rebuild). Meanwhile, US 95 Business ends at the intersection of Rancho and Redondo Drive. A map icon on Rancho would be nice. It goes beyond the I-15 connection, so ending ours at the I-15 is an option. Us 95 Business does not generally have signs on it, but is marked as such on maps.
Beyond Rancho Drive, we now would have Interstate 11 by itself. At Summerlin Parkway/Rainbow Boulevard, the highway turns north and SR 613 continues west (should be drawn in, but access is not needed unless we create a new area with new depots). It continues north in the near vicinity of Mar A Lago (no, not the president's home in Florida, this is in Vegas) and meets US 95 again at Exit 48 after 95 passes the North Las Vegas Airport (a possible Ultimus depot?). The previously mentioned Kyle Canyon Road, Exit 53, is the end of the highway for now. Given the barren landscape that exists in our southwestern Nevada, I think this is a fantastic way to add to the map. To quote: "Mount Charleston is an unincorporated town and census-designated place in Clark County, Nevada, United States. The population was 357 at the 2010 census. The town of Mount Charleston is named for nearby Mount Charleston whose Charleston Peak at 11,916 feet (3,632 m) is the highest point in Clark County. The town of Mount Charleston is in a valley of the Spring Mountains to the northwest of Las Vegas." I think creating SR 157 and extending it to a scenery town of Mount Charleston, with SR 158 ready to take people back to what is now US 95, is a great start for expanding the map. But given this new I-11 terminus is west of Las Vegas (in reality, right on the city border), we have to discuss this further, as well.
Extensions are planned for I-11 to the Mercury Highway at Exit 93 (not relevant right now) and the highway could continue as US 95 in-game as it presently does. It remains a divided highway right up to its future Mercury terminus, and then becomes a regular road. The Mercury interchange could be represented but perhaps inaccessible (or make the interchange accessible with a secret road to the town). In the future, if this game is still in development when I-11 designates to here, we can add that designation along the new stretch and update the highway further.
Other changes that can occur along this corridor are the addition of our final agriculture checkpoint along the one unchanged road in California to date, and an update of US 95 near Reno, particularly after Tonopah. A new road would be needed at US 6 (Coaldale) continuing US 95 to intersect US 50, eventually merging north of Fallon (I-80 exit 48) to run concurrent with I-80 until it leaves where it currently appears there.
Updates to US 93 to the east of the Interstate can also take place up to Kingman; perhaps start at I-40 where Needles is already represented and run AZ 95 past the gas station to Laughlin (right by the tri border with California with a U.S. 95 connection via NV 163) and then run AZ 68 to US 93, after which I-40 eventually crosses, and you are in Kingman. US 93 after the bridge with I-11 should be a south-southeast alignment pretty much the entire way with minimal fluctuation, not curved as it is now. The road finally curves before the I-40 and entering Kingman remains straight to the east.
There is a lot that can be done with the wasteland of space that is currently near US 95 and what could become Interstate 11. I wanted to highlight some of the key information and changes that would be necessary to make what we already have more accurate. I hope I have done this.

Re: [REWORK] AZ, CA, and NV public research and rework suggestions.
The one miss in the last phase of the California rework which disappointed me is the absence of CA-78 between Brawley and Blythe. It would've been the perfect opportunity represent the Imperial Sand Dunes (AKA the Algodones or Glamis Dunes). They are really the only opportunity SCS has to properly represent sand dunes in the desert (Yes, there's White Sands, but it's inaccessible in game and nobody would drive through there for deliveries anyways), and I think it would be a really unique road that would also improve connections to El Centro.* As long as they're willing to make it end at the current intersection in Blythe instead of the dedicated intersection it has IRL, I don't think it would be too challenging to add.
* This route might also improve some connections to and from San Diego, but I'm not sure.
Scenic Towns: Brawley (expanded), Glamis, possibly Palo Verde
Areas of interest: Brawley Post Office and Town Hall, Imperial Sand Dunes, Hugh T. Osborne Lookout Park, Border Patrol Inspection Station, Pre-Columbian Indian Trail historical marker.
Possible new industry: Mesquite Cattle Feeders (There's already one of these in El Centro proper, but it's at a junction that has to be modeled anyways), Mesquite Gold Mine (Space would be a serious concern, but it would be a very nice addition).
Connection Improvements:
Major improvement between El Centro and Blythe or Kingman
Moderate improvement between El Centro and the majority of cities north of Phoenix AZ and east of Boise, ID, give or take.
Proposed Route

I am looking forward to a full rebuilding of the maps of Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, Montana, and perhaps Washington and Oregon by adding of more road markings, among others HM (Hazardous Materials), Attractions, Litter Removal, Do Not Cross White Double Line as well as most HOV Lanes and Toll Roads. It is important to check on the Google map the correctness of the current appearances of the markings prevailing now. The names of and directions to the given cities/towns would be improved.

@KubaLinBunio well, what are you waiting for? If you have the game and those DLC's, you can start rebuilding all those states to your liking. Oh, wait... you don't have a legal copy of the game...

No way bro is asking for a free rework of a product he stole. That's downright preposterous

I would like to, but I am not a professional modder. Let's leave this corrective and rebuilding work to manufacturers/producers and other professionals. Let's hope they do not make some mistake.Vinnie Terranova wrote: ↑14 Jun 2025 21:33 @KubaLinBunio well, what are you waiting for? If Hotels have the possibility of being added as a depot like in Greece. There could be two new companies, one Hotel on the Southern Side of the Strip as LION Resorts and one on the more Northern Side (in terms of the current map, more of the middle in real life. But where Flamingo Road is) as Romans Entertainment
Caesars Palace which is Palace in game could also be renamed to Romans Palace for consistency.
But yeah, just some suggestions if they're helpful.

Re: [REWORK] AZ, CA, and NV public research and rework suggestions.
Another idea for Caesar's Palace is "Magna Palatium," which is Latin for "Great Palace;" this way it's more referential to the Roman Empire. The Palace could also "belong" to a particular Caesar, like Trajan or Hadrian.
Another good name for the Trump would be the "Midas," seeing as how the building appears to be covered in gold, and the number of letters is the same; there would also be a slight pop culture bonus here, since "Midas" was the name Reuben (Elliot Gould) was planning for the casino he was building with Willy Bank (Al Pacino) before Bank betrayed him, kicking off the plot of "Ocean's Thirteen." This also tiptoes around Trump's controversy; I don't have any problem with the name "Triumph" for his casino myself, but there's bound to be someone who will make an issue of it (it may seem petty, and it probably is, but the world is a little bit volatile right now; it feels like I'm handling dynamite just writing this, but I figured I'd address the elephant in the room). "Midas" is a little more neutral and can appeal to both supporters and critics, with the name relating to not just regality and opulence, but also vanity and foolishness; it's also a name I can see a huge, gilded casino/hotel skyscraper realistically having.
