Is it possible to mod/add a weapon model?

Hi all, after a year I lost the notebook where I had all my modified weapons, its a shame, I'll miss the 404 until I do it again. The thing here is that I got another pc working that can run the game and I may try something new and maybe harder this time, the Armalite AR30A1 is a rifle I personally love, its so simple yet its so beautifull (and accurate) but this time there are no weapons in the game that resemble this one, so im asking if there is a way to model one or in the most extreme case, change the model from an already existing one in-game, any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance.
