Deadzone on pedals

#1 Post by KevinHenni » 15 Jan 2025 18:50

Hi fellow truck driver,

I have built a new pc and when i'm playing ETS2 i feel like there is a deadzone on my pedals. Both throttle and brake but i notice the throttle more. Moza software is telling me pedals got input about half way pressed down. Deadzone settings in Moza Pithouse and ETS2 are both disabled. Any possible solution?

Thanks in advance. Kevin

Hello Kevin

Could you be so kind and please upload all of your steering wheel settings here.

I think that the dead zone is not at zero when accelerating or braking. So please take pictures of it.

Calibrate your pedals in the moza software when you got a input without pressing the pedal
Than add 3-5% deadzone (so you dont get signals when not on the pedal)

I would set the dead zone to zero.

I don't have such problems with my Logitech G920 because I set the dead zone to zero straight away.

These are my settings. On my other pc it was all good. On new pc only input after ~47% input on both throttle and brake.

This is a video showing the problem. As you can see input starting somewhere around 47% input. Hear engine and see brake lights.

do you have other games where you use the hardware and is there the same problem?
if yes its hardware related.

Have you done the "wizard" to configure a controller ?
it's how you set deadzone and turning of the wheel, plus the pedals, and shifter

something tells me you skipped that ...

You mean the controller configurator froM ETS2? I did that and also retried just now. No success.. I feel like the problem is on ETS2 end. Cause when i give just a little bit on pedal, it shows in Moza pithouse.
