I went back to the G29 wheel after using the T248 for a while. I like the pedals better, and I didn't like the TM's FFB - everone to his taste, I'd say. I wouldn't say the TM is bad, I just like theG29 better. I kept the TM TH8 shifter however, not only because of the 8 gear positions, but also the reliability. Together with a truck grip (with switches for range/split) I am rather content now.

Hey all,

Looking to replace my 20 year old saitek r100 racing wheel with something newer. My budget is around $500 - 600. I have looking at the fanatec and the moza wheels. I look like to have the cruise control, turn signals on the wheel itself.

Does anyone know if the tsw truck wheel is compatable with the r5 bundle?

Thanks in advance.

Ive had G27 wheel and shifter, with Saiteck side panel for years.
Has worked really well, but getting a bit dated now.
So, I am shouting myself a Moza Truck Wheel bundle and H shifter for Xmas.
I am currently designing a cockpit for it.
A question for anyone who uses this setup:
What buttons/keys do you use for the splitter and range commands?

Yes, thats what I'm getting.
If you google "Moza Trucking Bundle" the wheel comes with a R5

Is the R5 strong enough for the TSW?
I'm on the fence between the R5 and R9, because my current CSL Elite seems to be in between force wise but with a much smaller rim (ie. lever), obviously.

Get a range/splitter/jake knob for it, makes it feel a lot more real.

Edit: s/joke/jake/

Is there anyone with a Moza Truck wheel running ETS2 or ATS, who would be happy to share their software and in game settings.
I have mine up and running, but only on very basic settings.
I remember, way back when I got my G27, it took a while to get it performing at its best.

So, I have the R5Truck bundle, plus HGP Shifter.

If I was ever asked about wheel I would point to either MOZA or Hori for trucks, but as most don't play just SCS games, I would GO with either Thrustmaster T300 or better/newer, or MOZA systems. Price is a factor, but accessibility is an even greater one.
