I got my Hori Truck Control System device few days ago, but I've issues installing it. After installing the drivers and connecting the device, the steering wheel does not calibrate automatically. When I try to calibrate it manually in Hori Device Manager I get the message 'At the current steering position, center correction cannot be made' (of course the steering wheel is centered).
In ETS2 setup went well but in game turning doesn't work. All other buttons and pedals work ok.
I tried on two different computers and the result was the same. I don't know if it's a driver issue or a damaged device.
Has anyone had a similar problem?

Marcin
Yes, I've had this exact problem, I contacted Hori customer support, and it was a faulty unit. You need to contact them at info@horiuk.com if you are from Europe, but they are closed until 1st january, or at least it was in their email on the bottom, so I guess you have to wait until next year. Btw they have an amazing customer support, I received a new unit within like 10 days of writing them, because if you need a replacement, they can dispatch it as soon as your faulty unit gets picked up. And of course my new wheel is working flawlessly. I hope that you can have a similarly good experience with them.

I've found out in joy.cpl that turning wheel is not send as Wheel Axis. Instead, left stick (left or right) is send as Wheel Axis (should be L-X Axis). Turning wheel is not send to driver at all.
Is it possible to remap this on driver level or it means that my device is broken and I should return it.

Download the driver and the HDM again. Uninstall the driver and HDM and install the new d/l driver again.
Connect the Wheel and Shifter and now open the HDM. Try to Center the Wheel again.

No, this is a normal behavior in Windows. My Wheel do the same in Windows joy.col. On Linux the Steering Wheel is on axis X and the left Analogstick is on axis Y (up/down) and axis Z (left/right) but if i start ETS2 i cant use the Stick as a mouse, because if i turn the Wheel left, the Mousepointer went left, but if i use the left Analogstick to move the Mouse i can only use up and down.
So i think the Steering Wheel is not on axis X, its on axis Z.

Thanks for your answer. I have done this twice already, no success.

Maybe someone of you knows in which folder are the Hori FFB RWD driver files located after installation? I could try to replace it manually in Device Manager selecting right folder.

Yesterday the TCS arrived and its now mounted in the stand and ready to play.
The TCS works out of the box but I want to tune some settings.

Now I have problems with the device manager software.
First of all: if i wanna change the software language, it works but resets after every restart of the software.
Second: the wheel don't respond to changes of the ffb. ffb on 1 or 10 feels the same. At least the software remembers the settings after restart. SOLVED see below
Third: I don't see any option to change or disable auto centering like in my G27 software. (This helped to not auto center when truck is stopped) SOLVED you don't need this, see below

Also changing/disabling FFB in ETS2/ATS doesn't do any changes to the wheel. SOLVED see below
Only edit steering angle work.

Has anyone similar problems?

Thx

EDIT: SOLVED!

Hori says on their page not to use any kind of USB Hub/Switch or USB extension cable to connect the wheel and the shifter to your PC.
This is not true in general. BUT: I tried 2 new cheap chinese branded USB hubs from Amazon (which are working otherwise) and the wheel didn't work correctly (with the problems described above). Only with a very old D-Link USB2.0 hub (I guess its from the early 2000s) all FFB and centering settings work correctly. Directly connected the settings also work correctly.

Test it in Windows USB Controller settings. If you see three of the steering axis in brighter red and mini joystick movements and button presses on the wheel are recognized -> OK. If all is in dark red and no button presses are recognized -> try another USB hub or connect directly.

This is, because the Hori Software read the device and savfe all on the device. If you change the rotaion: its saved on the device. And so on.

Hi guys. I bought a brand new HORI Truck System and got it in my hands just yesterday. It worked perfectly in ETS2, but some time later I closed the game and went to HORI Device Manager to tweak some configs (basically the wheel turn grade to see how it work) and since then the wheel axis did not worked anymore. I got the same issue as marcinkujawa77, my wheel axis is now the left stick and not the wheel itself; everything else as buttons, levers and shift stick works fine. I tried to plug and unplug the device several times and also uninstalling and reinstalling drivers and device manager but the problem is still happening.

I sent an e-mail to HORI at info@horiuk.com with the report of this but maybe you guys have already solved this thing, as I searched everywhere and I didn't found a solution.

I apologize in advance for my English since I'm from Argentina and this is not my native language. I hope someone here can give me a hand...

I had issues where something changed with windows. That screwed up my FF settings. I tried for about a month all kinds of fixes. What finally worked was that I left wheel connected and then uninstalled the driver package. I had tried uninstall / reinstall many times before but never with the wheel connected. Then reinstalled the driver package and no problems since.
