No there does not. ATS can go straight to OB.

Hello @DisgruntledTrucker,
Could you please let us know if there will be any new strings to translate for the new Driving Academy chapter? If so, when will they be available on Crowdin? It would be great to have them there as soon as possible, so we can translate everything before the new game version is released, ideally during our free time.

I don't think Mark is responsible in any way for translation process on Crowdin.

Either way, I've noticed quite a lot of untranslated strings making their way into release versions with each update since the academy was dropped for the first time. And not only *in* the academy, but in regular game as well.
I wonder why.

Mostly because the strings were provided to the translators too late to be included in the release.

Or because translators are a quite small amount of voluntary humans, so there can be plenty of reasons why some particular ones don't provide translations in time or at all. Many languages only have one active translator, some have two or more.

With the above said, let me take this opportunity to say a big THANK YOU to a special person: forum veteran @krmarci who does the german translations as a NON NATIVE speaker during his free time while studying iirc and does a pretty good job and saves our lazy german asses lol

So basically, Driving Academy wasn't explicitly intended to be apart of the experimental beta, but since it was already in the build it wasn't worth pulling it out.

We're still a ways off from 1.55 - I imagine texts should be going to crowdin shortly as the texts are almost finalized at this point, just a couple things left.
