Re: Promods Maps
Promods map expansion or Promods map addons which adds extra drivable experience
At some point I gave up on all the hazzle to wait for mods to be updated before I could change to the new game version
Also not to be able to use external jobs started to grow on me
These day the vanilla game is in a nice condition and expanded to cover almost all of Europe
Don't get me wrong i miss using Promods at time but it has it flaws but so does vanilla gaming, back in the early days the expansion was a must to enjoy the game
Today it is a matter of referencer, what do you want out of the game

This signature virus has been spliced with the Fundementalism-B virus to create a new more contagious strain.
Please look for it infecting a signature near you.

Re: Promods Maps
My short answer is try it and see, there is nothing lost if you don't like it. If you don't want to muck up your profile, start a new one...
Which leads into my other short answer, which is: Have multiple profiles. If you don't want to go thru the whole silly early economy nonsense on an unfamiliar map, use one of the 'jump start' mods when you create the PM profile....

All these years and still on my bum in a puddle, scratching in the dirt....
Re: Promods Maps
Thank you very much for the advice,I really appreciate it, I will give it a go and see.

Re: Promods Maps
My advice:
To avoid starting a new profile from the cratch:
Before testing a huge mod like a map, save your current profile.
If you're not satisfied with the tested mod, return to your backup profile.
So you don't have to start a new profile first and you don't get warnings and errors due to missing components (garages, roads, etc.) though!
