While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.

@AlexRomanoid I don't know what else to tell you, I asked @juninho944 if I could use his skyboxes, HE GAVE ME PERMISSION to use his skyboxes... so it is not "stealing" if he gave me permission to use his skyboxes!!

I'm guessing this is a module from the author's ATS, because a while ago the author temporarily changed the link to Google Drive, and I downloaded and used it on ETS2, and it worked fine.

using ATS here, curious why some skyboxes are so lo-res/pixelated?

also, and this is just my opinion, i think this skybox looks a bit basic, i've seen similar in weather 3.2 and always thought it looked like a gradient from MS paint

other than that it looks great most of the time!

@Hillycamp the only thing that is the same as Weather 3.2 are the skyboxes. The author of Weather 3.2 and I are friends and I asked him if I could use his skyboxes, he said that was okay. That being said, I have done a lot of work to improve cloud shadows, rain/thunder intensities, etc.

I'm not disputing the ownership of the skyboxes i'm just saying it looks bad (just my opinion)

@Hillycamp I understand what you meant, but I still have to say it otherwise people will accuse me of stealing @juninho944 weather mod. My team and I plan on replacing the skyboxes with ultra-realistic ones. We can't do that at the moment as skyboxes can be a bit pricey.

Maybe... the main difference is real daylight hours.

The base game does real daylight hours based on the day of the year and the latitude you are at. What update does your mod make?

@Madkine My Ultimate Graphics Mod on Steam is updated daily to mimic the actual sunrise/sunset times instead of always being on summer time.
