It helps this is about 3 states and interest keeps up every time a new rebuild project is done for them.
Hoping for the CA-99/CA-58 interchange to be fixed.......

Reno is funny, because it stood out next to other base map cities. It’s not that the layout is so bad, but it’s horribly outdated compared to the current mapping standards.justgettingold wrote: 14 Jul 2025 12:02 Oh and btw speaking of NV, Reno is pretty nice as far as base map cities go. Can't know how realistic it is tho.
It’s also not very realistic and missing some key industries.
One can only dream SCS is secretly working on an I-80/Nevada rework and keeping their lips sealed. But I’ll believe it when I see it.
I’ve discovered quite a bit of reworked California, but it’s definitely a case of taking jobs within California and isolating yourself from the rest of the map. The R66 rework should help a bit with making it more accessible. Though I do hope that the northern border parts of Arizona and New Mexico are done as well so that there is no harsh transition between Utah/Colorado and the R66 rework.

This thread also contains research type material. Covers 4 phases and every blog for those 4 phases. It has PRT information. It has lots of information when updates show hints at something. Its the base map in which everyone must have to play ATS. No one is forced to buy map dlc's. So there is a broad spectrum of topics for that effect the base map.Killer-Of-Night wrote: 14 Jul 2025 12:44 It helps this is about 3 states and interest keeps up every time a new rebuild project is done for them.

Hey guys, I'm waiting for the second part of the SCS Software 'Project Route 66' blog post. I'd like them to explain in detail how far the map rework will go. Will it include northern Arizona and northern New Mexico? I'd also like to see an article about Monument Valley in the updated Arizona section of the blog.

In the blog they said the following, so yeah it will be Northern Arizona and I-40 in New Mexicoraskol wrote: 17 Jul 2025 12:29 Hey guys, I'm waiting for the second part of the SCS Software 'Project Route 66' blog post. That's why we've kicked off the Route 66 Rework Project, focusing on key segments in Northern Arizona and parts of New Mexico, especially along I-40.
I'm someone who likes ATS and makes mods for it, former developer and co-owner of the East Meets Mid North (EMMN) map mod.

Re: Base Map Rebuild (CA, NV, AZ) General Discussion Thread
There is a whole thread dedicated to Project Road Trip if that is the topic to be spoken. viewtopic.php?p=2028019#p2028019. Although it contains some of the base map, this isn't the place for PRT really. That user is foed for me so someone that reads his post, tell that user. Otherwise that user will continue post in wrong threads on his subject as usual.

Unless posts were moved or deleted, I think you're the only one to mention PRT on this page.
We're talking about the other "Project Ro_________" here.

Sora what do you think Route 66 Rework is about dude? Its tied to PRT. You might wanna do some research. You are barely here and always have the nerve to call me out all the time and be off. Read my friend.....read. Read between the lines as to what that user posted as well. If PRT wasn't tied route 66, don't you think the reworks would map in phases like California? Instead they are focusing along route 66 and areas off it. For some reason, SCS is head over heals about Route 66 as if it was currently the 50s again. If you noticed, I also said yes PRT is part of the base map...I clearly said that. But if the subject is going off off on a tangent like that user typically does, this isn't the thread. If you was here often enough, you know how that user is. That's what I'm getting at.
