Re: Proposal of typical vehicles for AI traffic that are still missing (tbc)
Today, I'm going to celebrate Independence Day for us Americans with future AI vehicle suggestions dedicated to some 90s cars. Take your time with these models and make them high-quality traffic cars. Enjoy.
1992-1998 Buick Skylark
Believe it or not, Buick's final-generation Skylark was infamous for its awkward design, and being based on the Grand Am certainly wasn't a strong suit to begin with. The early models were plagued with an awkward nosecone which required a sidemounted license plate on the front bumper, wedge-shaped parking lights, and a too-short wheelbase to begin, and it was dismal to drive. While the later models, shown below, were much better, it was too little and too late. There aren't many reference photos I could gather so you might want to look around used car sites in the US.

1998-2004 Dodge Durango (DN)
The lesser-known Durango no one wants to talk about, this SUV is as unrefined as it gets. Based on the Dakota architecture, the Durango is cheap and unreliable just as every other Dodge product was in the 90s.
[ external image ]
[ external image ]
1997-2004 Dodge Dakota (AN)
While we're there, let's also include the pickup equivalent into the mix. A Magnum V8 might've done it justice but these trucks, regardless of body type, were just as bad as any other Dodge. The third-world build quality these trucks had marred its reputation, and that is likely why so few are in decent condition. Yet still, I'd love to see those models come to life eventually. I did my best to include all variants.

[ external image ]
Quad Cab (introduced in 2000)
[ external image ]
1987-1995 Jeep Wrangler (YJ)
Back in the late 80s, the Wrangler was the go-to choice for anyone with a need for offroading thrills. Many variants came and went with the first-gen Wrangler, including one used in the Jurassic Park movie. This model comes with plenty of attachments to choose from (and that is required): soft-top, hard-top and the option of having doors or no doors. The higher order of Zima cool is here to stay.
[ external image ]
[ external image ]
Just so you know, the license plate position would have to be placed onto the gas cap, just as any real life Wrangler did.
1989-1992 Ford Probe (SN16)
While the original Probe was limited to the NA market, the swoopy two-door coupe, created with Mazda's origins in mind, wasn't a strong seller, and it was basically a less sporty Mustang. That being said, it's not a bad car overall, as it does its own thing, but what really hurt the Probe's reputation was the second-gen model.
[ external image ]
[ external image ]
1993-1997 Ford Probe (SN16)
This was the vehicle the Europeans hated so much. The name was awful to start with. To make matters worse it was actually sold in Europe and the UK (and Japan too!). While copies of this model in America aren't bad to match, it wasn't impressive. Sales were slow, and people weren't interested in a cheap coupe with a slower engine. Nowadays, they're rare, not a collector's item even in its GT variant, and it's been forgotten by the public consciousness.
[ external image ]
1994-1999 Cadillac DeVille
The unrefined, heavy, slow, but comfortable Cadillac cruiser from the mid-90s would certainly be a nice addition to ATS.
[ external image ]
[ external image ]
1993-1997 Honda Civic del Sol (EG)
There's a lot to say about the badly-executed Civic del Sol (aka CR-X del Sol in Japan), and it's unfortunate. The del Sol was basically a Civic targa with none of the practicality and roadster functionality. It was heavier than the CR-X and the small trunk didn't allow for much except its partitioned roof. Sadly, no effort was done to improve the model, whether it was porting the JDM SiR powertrain or cutting out Civic in the name, so Honda terminated the del Sol in 1997. If it weren't for the S2000 in 1999, Honda wouldn't have a good roadster, but this wasn't it.

Re: Proposal of typical vehicles for AI traffic that are still missing (tbc)
Here is today's vehicle submissions for ATS. Enjoy.
2009-2014 Ford F-150 (P415)
For 2009, Ford brought in an updated model of the long-running, best-selling F-150 pickup truck. It came in plenty of variants, which I highly encourage gathering research for. The more desireable F-150 in this generation was the SVT Raptor model, introduced in 2010 on a two-year production run. Classify it as a regular vehicle.

2010-12 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor Supercab - This model, along with its Supercrew variation, was the truck of choice for offroading and cruising. A massive 6.2 liter V8 powers the whole shebang and has made prominent video game appearances, including the Forza franchise. Larger tires, body cladding, twin-cannon tailpipe, vents and graphic vinyls are a tell this is one of those trucks.

2020-present Chevrolet Corvette
You don't need to break the bank to get an affordable supercar, as Chevrolet's legendary Corvette has you covered. The eighth-gen 'Vette is a radical reinvention of the sports car, and the biggest change is the transition from a front-engined sports car to a mid-engine supercar. Priced up to $65,000 (prior to inflation prices), the Corvette pretty much undercut any mid-engine sports car from every other brand. Best of all, it found extra popularity in Europe, and for the first time, you could order a RHD Corvette. 2022 saw the introduction of the menacing Z06; the following year brought the hybrid E-Ray (which is a co-cover car in the critically maligned Forza Motorsport reboot) and last year, we got the ultimate ZR1 model that is so extreme it won't be added here. Currently it's still in production with a 2026 facelift, alongside an extremely limited ZR1X model.

2024-present BMW 5-series (G60)
Tech-oriented, fun to drive, and an expensive machine. We so desperately need to see new German rides soon...
[ external image ]
[ external image ]
2025-present BMW M5 (G90)
Brilliant performer but it's hard to love. And it certainly doesn't disappoint when compared with the previous gen M5 - the F90 - that still holds value. You have more choices to pick in terms of body style, which is where I bring up this...
[ external image ]
[ external image ]
2025 BMW M5 Touring (G99) - Yes, believe it or not, BMW actually sells this very speedy wagon stateside. For those looking for a fun longroof to throw down or to ensure a fast grocery trip, this is an ideal, but expensive, choice. Sadly this is the only Touring model offered, as the lower-spec trims are not sold in the US. This will have to do.

1997-2001 Honda Prelude (BB6)
Honda's final-gen Prelude certainly has its charm, and I wouldn't miss it for the world. An elegantly-designed front-wheel drive coupe built off the Accord, the Prelude was the choice for wholesome fun. Shown here is the top-spec Type SH trim, with a VTEC engine.

Re: Proposal of typical vehicles for AI traffic that are still missing (tbc)
Here is today's future AI vehicle additions to start the week.
2010-2016 BMW Z4 (E89)
The second-gen BMW Z4 is elegant with a personality of its own. The roadster came in various engine forms, including the mid-cycle 2.8 liter engine. Shown here is the 2012 sDrive28i.

[ external image ]
2009-2014 Nissan Cube (Z12)
Introduced in 2008, this cube-shaped oddity snuck into our shores in 2009. The timing was right, given the global economic downturn and high gas prices but that was shortlived. Nissan quietly abandoned the Cube by 2014, even though production continued in its native Japan until 2020. I listed both its base and Krom models.

2017-2023 Audi R8 (Type 4S; exotic car)
As with the previous-gen R8, the second and final generation of the R8 shares its powertrain with the Lamborghini Huracan. The US didn't get this model until 2017 at the latest, and it was facelifted in 2019 (2020 for NA) before sunsetting off production. Also included is its Spyder variant.
[ external image ]
[ external image ]
2018-23 R8 V10 Spyder
[ external image ]
[ external image ]
2005-2010 Chrysler 300 (LX)
Back in the mid-aughts, DaimlerChrysler was building these types of cars for personal business. One of these platforms that was being developed at the time was the LX platform, which underpinned this very model, the Dodge Magnum, and the Charger, as well as a similar architecture that would underpin the Challenger. The North American models of the 300 itself, shown below, were only offered in sedan form, where Europe offers both a sedan and Touring variations (which the latter was just a Magnum with Chrysler cues).
[ external image ]
[ external image ]
2011-2023 Chrysler 300 (LX)
2011 brought us a heavily restyled 300 sedan, based on the updated LX platform, and like its predecessor, it was built in Canada. It's surprising that this model actually survived long enough to last a full decade, and in its last model year, Chrysler put up a limited run of 2023 models before it was discontinued. 2015 facelift shown below.
[ external image ]
[ external image ]
2001-2006 Mitsubishi Montero (V75W)
For me, this generation of the Montero SUV is quite appealing. The Montero - a name adopted for the US, Spain and Latam markets due to its global (and domestic) name being offensive - has an interesting design and off-road chops. Pre-facelift model shown below.
[ external image ]
[ external image ]
2011-2020 Toyota Sienna (SL30)
The third-gen minivan from Toyota deserves its credit in the spotlight, and it's not just for the Modern Family. Reliable, though not very fun to drive...
[ external image ]
[ external image ]
2014-2017 Chevrolet SS (VF)
The Chevrolet SS was a sendoff for the modern world, as this was the last Holden-based product before production of the Commodore - which this North American SS model is based off of - was retired in 2017. The Australian-American connection to the automobile industry was brief, with failed experiments like the GTO and successful ones like the G8 (also based on the Commodore). Holden itself was no more in 2020 as GM shuttered the brand that year.

Since only 1 person on that page is posting something, I was thinking about some of the things, that need to be change in ATS.
1. REMOVE Ford S-max and Mercedes W204 wagon. None of these cars was sold in the us. Replace mercedes with sedan version.
2. Rework audi a6, range rover, and chevrolet Express (bad models)
3. Add police tesla model s (it is in some us cities

Re: Proposal of typical vehicles for AI traffic that are still missing (tbc)
Neymar that isn't true; there is one other person, Tails, that posts some vehicle suggestions, though not as frequently as I am doing. My purpose is to educate the planned cars.
For 1 I'm aware (and I know many more are like this) that the aforementioned Ford should be removed. I've even outlined it on the main wishlist. Same with the S204 wagon. 2. Yes, I am aware that plenty of old vehicles need to be reworked to present-day standards. Which will require an update change. This is something I've also outlined in both ATS and ETS2 on their respective wish lists. 3. Doubtful. Most Teslas aren't used as cop cars except California as far as I am concerned.
Anyway...
Here is today's future AI vehicle proposal to ATS. Enjoy.
2014-2020 Chevrolet Impala
The final-generation Impala celebrates the large American sedan and the last one to be built in its dedicated factory. The slow-selling Impala was discontinued due to a combination of GM's push towards SUVs and EVs, a shrinking market of sedans, and relatively cheap gas (at the time).
[ external image ]
[ external image ]
2000-2006 BMW X5 (E53)
Investing in a SUV was a huge risk for BMW, and the rising popularity of the SUV at the turn of the century prompted them to build an SUV based on the 5-series. The American-made X5 proved to be a moderate success worldwide, and American consumers were given various trims, from the lower-spec 3.0i to the premium 4.6i engines. The sporty 4.6is model is shown below and tends to be more valuable.

2020-present BMW X7 (G07)

2021 Alpina XB7 (G07) - Technically qualifies as an exotic SUV.

2004-2016 Nissan Armada (TA60)
This was the more conventional model of the Nissan SUV, which proved to sell well, and have a decent powertrain to boot. Based on the Titan pickup truck, the Armada (and its slandered Infiniti relative) has its moments on the road and for road trips. It was given a facelift in 2008.

2014-2024 Maserati Ghibli (M157)

2014-2020 Jaguar F-Type (X152)
For Jaguar's reinvention of the elegant E-Type to the modern world, we have to get you a brief history of how it came to be. First revealed in prototype form in 2011 as the C-X16 Concept, much of the overall design essentially migrated over to the production model in 2013 and was given a convertible version to go along with the design. The sleek F-Type, as it is known now, was pushed out to Europe in basic and sport trims, and for Americans, we would get the sporty F-Type S and the performance-oriented F-Type R in both coupe and convertible forms. Even though it was quite pricey, the F-Type proved to be successful and it has its share of video game presence. A dazzling marketing campaign, a brief appearance in Furious 7, and unique Project 7 variants (basically limited-run tribute machines) helped variety and throughout its lifespan it introduced the hardcore SVR variant. The F-Type got a marginal facelift in 2017, and another restyle in 2021 as well as new powertrain options, including a lower-spec I4. I did my best to provide various original models of the F-Type.

Should a massive three-row SUV from BMW appeal to you? Given the right circumstances, it should. The X7 comes in various trims, including a premium tuned Alpina variation.

This Maserati proved that lower-spec models can work, if done right. The Ghibli proved to be a moderate success worldwide, and the S Q4 model shown can provide.

Re: Proposal of typical vehicles for AI traffic that are still missing (tbc)
Here is today's AI vehicle suggestions for ATS. Enjoy.
2005-2011 BMW 3 (E90/E92/E93)
A lot of things can be true about the 3-series, and the fourth-gen model has plenty of variations. I've done my best to include all variants in US-spec forms, but sadly the wagon model has been excluded from this suggestion.
[ external image ]
[ external image ]
3-series Coupe (E92)
[ external image ]
[ external image ]
3-series Convertible (E93) - This has a solid roof when the roof is up
[ external image ]
[ external image ]
2008-2013 BMW M3 (E92)
Just as the previous M3 was an icon for the ages, the E92 model was a legend in the making. A thunderous V8 engine (the only M3 to ever offer such a powertrain like this), carbon/black roof details, and an aggressive body style tie the whole thing together. It's quite a rare vehicle, and many are still around that can fetch a significant sum at the auction block. While the 3-series moved on to a newer generation through 2012, this model stuck around until June 2013, when it was spiritually replaced by the M4 in 2015.
[ external image ]
[ external image ]
2010-2014 Subaru Outback (BR)
It would actually be cool to include more variants of the Outback, and we currently have the current model in ATS. Why not include the model that came out the previous decade? Adds a bit of extra variety to the cars and it's for variety. 2013 facelift shown below.
[ external image ]
[ external image ]
2003-2007 Nissan Murano (Z50)
Nissan's first-hand turn at a crossover SUV is as weird as ever, and people were not really all that enthused with the rear end's design. Some might say it's the 350Z but turned into an SUV form, but that may just be irony at play. This SUV was also sold worldwide.
[ external image ]
[ external image ]
Additional generations of the Murano will be added later.
2023-present Maserati Grecale (M182)
A very attractive, very charming compact utility vehicle from Maserati. Though based on the underpinnings of the Alfa Romeo Stelvio, the Grecale makes the most out of its $104,000 base price for the Trofeo variant shown below. Also applicable to ETS2.
[ external image ]
[ external image ]
2010-2015 Lexus RX 350/450h (AL10)
The third-gen RX continues its tradition of a reliable crossover SUV with poise. Also can be added to ETS2 since that vehicle is sold in Europe.
[ external image ]
[ external image ]
2024-present Buick Envista
Don't be so obtuse. Buick's weird Envista is about the closest thing you can get to a real sedan. A byproduct of Chinese material, the Envista looks very attractive and the Avenir model shown below will provide.
[ external image ]
[ external image ]
2008-2011 Volvo C30
Of all the more short-lived models to be offered in the US, none were quite a missed opportunity with the Volvo C30. The C30 - a spliced byproduct of various Volvo models and churned out to a Belgian factory - was created as an experimental prototype in 2006. It launched in 2007 for the European market and would land on US shores as a 2008 model year. Thing is, it was released just as the global economy went into a recession, and Volvo's C30 basically became a slow-seller, even in Europe. It certainly wasn't helping that Volvo was in the red throughout the tail-end of the 2000s, and would eventually result in Ford selling the brand to Geely (Chinese car maker). US models would get a basic T5 engine when it launched and had more variants in the pipeline. Unfortunately for North America, the C30 was a sinking ship, and despite a nicer facelift for the 2010 model year, the three-door hatchback was gone by the end of 2011. Production of the C30 did continue in Europe until 2013.

Re: Proposal of typical vehicles for AI traffic that are still missing (tbc)
Here is today's picks for future AI vehicles for American Truck Simulator. Enjoy. Sorry for the long wait.
2009-2014 Nissan Murano (Z51)
The second-gen version of the Murano crossover SUV is a big step up in design, and plenty can still be found in working condition. Shockingly enough, this model also spawned a convertible variant. It was sold worldwide, so it can be applicable to ETS2.
[ external image ]
[ external image ]
2011-2014 Nissan Murano CrossCabriolet (Z51) - This is one of the strangest vehicles to ever come out of the 21st century. The CrossCabriolet was a haphazardly desperate attempt to combine a crossover and a convertible, and tried the best of both worlds: the practicality of a SUV and the thrill of having wind in your hair in a convertible. Those two backfired horribly, as it was too limiting to qualify as a practical vehicle and too slow for thrills. Since everyone else rejected this model en masse, only the North Americans got this and the whiteout interior certainly would not help. The CrossCabriolet sold so poorly (and even then it was only the Americans that got it) that it was gone by 2014. Nowadays, it has been forgotten by the public consciousness. Since this model is rarer, it should technically qualify as a rare vehicle.
[ external image ]
[ external image ]
2001-2005 Ford Explorer Sport Trac (UN150)
This model was made to extend the second-gen's lifespan, and one that did the pickup-SUV combo before the Chevrolet Avalanche became a thing. It's basically a pickup version of the second-generation Explorer with an updated front end and a useful utility bed to haul basic cargoes. The Explorer Sport Trac continued until 2010.
[ external image ]
[ external image ]
2001-2003 Ford Explorer Sport (UN52)
The last two-door Explorer Sport is particularly dismal, as this was shadowed by the successful Sport Trac model. This model shares most of its body style of the four-door model and the Sport Trac and only lasted for two model years. They're quite uncommon nowadays...
[ external image ]
[ external image ]
2003-2006 Lincoln Navigator (U228)
The pinnacle of upper middle-class Americana in a SUV format. This model was notable for its many appearances in TV and movies, and it was in 2004's Need for Speed Underground 2.
[ external image ]
[ external image ]
2005-2011 Cadillac STS
Basically the successor of the Seville, and one that has an anonymous bodystyle. At least it got a performance variant to make up for it. The early models were also sold to Europe, but only in base trims.
[ external image ]
[ external image ]
2006-2009 Cadillac STS-V
[ external image ]
[ external image ]
2012-2021 Volkswagen Passat (NMS)
Whereas Europe has the long-running B7 and B8 models in both sedan and wagon forms, the North American Passat, from 2012 onwards, were separated from each other. This NMS platform the singular Passat runs on is exclusively sold in the NA and China markets. It came out the gate strong, partially because of an iconic Super Bowl ad from 2011, and it stayed on course until the sedan market began to shrink rapidly towards the end of the decade. Volkswagen ended the production of the Passat in 2021.
[ external image ]
[ external image ]
2019-present Lamborghini Urus (Exotic SUV)
Lamborghini's first SUV is exactly what you'd expect: It followed the SUV trend that was booming in the late 2010s, and it had many of Volkswagen's parts to spare. The Urus was introduced as a concept car in 2012 (which Forza had) and it matured into a very handsomely designed SUV. Super pricey to afford and available in wild colors in its later models, the Urus lives out its own space in the super SUV market. This model can be transferred to ETS2.
[ external image ]
[ external image ]
2007-2013 BMW X5 (E70)
The second-gen X5 was a continuation of the first SUV, and it looks decent in its own right. This generation spawned a wild M variant. Basic 4.8i model from 2008 shown below.

Re: Proposal of typical vehicles for AI traffic that are still missing (tbc)
Here is today's new AI vehicle submissions. Enjoy.
2013-2019 Subaru Forester (SJ)
As tradition, the cutting-edge fourth-gen Forester is sold in the US. Shown here is the pre-facelift XT model.
[ external image ]
[ external image ]
2013-2019 Cadillac XTS
This was once Cadillac's premier luxury sedan, and it used to be popular. Perhaps the time has come to make this a worthy collection to the ever-expanding ATS universe. Original 2013 model shown below.
[ external image ]
[ external image ]
1990-1997 Lincoln Town Car
The second-gen Town Car was a stateman's choice for luxury, and given the functional nature and luxury look, it works a lot for the body-on-frame sedan it's based off. A facelift was added in 1995 which saw separated lights, the lack of a window partition for rear passenger doors, and rearranged taillights.

2011-2018 Audi A6 C7 (Type 4G)
The luxury car's choice for the five-figure broker or sales executive. 2016 model shown below.
[ external image ]
[ external image ]
1993-2002 Pontiac Firebird
The last-gen Firebird from the defunct Pontiac marque was one of the last glorious models you could still buy and appreciate. Many variants have come and gone with this sports car, including performance-oriented Trans Am models and the Firehawk alongside the two body styles of the convertible and coupe models (which also have T-Tops as an option). Sadly, this and the Camaro, which both were based on the updated F-body architecture, were discontinued in 2002 due to a variety of reasons; one of them being poor sales. While the Camaro was resurrected, the Firebird ended up being gone for good. I did my best to include as many variants as possible, including pre- and post-facelift variations.

2011-2020 Bentley Mulsanne (Exotic Luxury Car)
Sporty, imposing and very much expensive, the Mulsanne, introduced in 2010, was made for the high-powered business magnate in mind. It was the last Bentley to have a completely custom engine configuration and production of the overpriced premium luxury sedan ended in 2020. I strongly recommend getting a low spawn rate and treat it as an exotic car.
[ external image ]
[ external image ]
2022-present Lexus LX 600 (J310)
For Americans, this is the closest you will ever get to a current Land Cruiser. It's lucky this even made it stateside as the global Land Cruiser is offered worldwide except the North American market. That being said, this model should provide for the weekend warrior. This is also sold in Europe, though it was only offered in diesel powered models, which I will provide later on.

Re: Proposal of typical vehicles for AI traffic that are still missing (tbc)
Today, I'm going to give you some reference photos for future AI vehicles to be added to ATS sometime in the future. Enjoy.
2006-2013 Lexus IS (XE20)
In its second-gen version, the Lexus IS (Intelligent Sport) was upheld as a smaller, budget-oriented sedan for the mass-market appeal. The big change it came with this model, aside from the fact that it was among the first Lexus products to be sold domestically in Japan, was the introduction of the IS F. The performance sedan was introduced in December 2007 in Japan, and into next year for other markets. Also included was its convertible model, which was unsuccessful in trying to compete with other convertibles and dropped in a few years.

[ external image ]
2004-2008 Chrysler Pacifica (CS)
The first Pacifica (no relation to the current minivan of the same name) was, to say the least, boring. It was based on its own minivan architecture, and it was made as a desperate attempt to cash in on the crossover SUV craze that sparked during the aughts. The over-encumbered Pacifica limped for four years, alongside a mild facelift in 2007 which didn't change much. The SUV was dropped from the lineup in 2008, likely due to poor sales, Chrysler's financial problems at the time, and the global economic recession.
[ external image ]
[ external image ]
2022-present Mercedes-Benz EQS (V297)
For us Americans, this was the first EV from Mercedes to be sold in North America. As I've mentioned before, the EQC crossover would've been a seller but Mercedes cut those plans out to make way for this. The EQS' notable feature is its massive MBUX overlay which dominates the majority of the front panel of the car. One thing that's different about this car is its specifications mandated by US law, such as light markers on the front and back and a specially-designed bumper for US-sized license plates, hence why I am proposing separate files for this model if it ever comes to pass. The mid-spec 450+ is shown below.
[ external image ]
[ external image ]
2000-2003 Nissan Maxima (A33)
The Maxima was a common vehicle to see on America's roads, and the North American model should provide. This game is sorely lacking in everyday cars and I'm doing my best to rectify this issue. SE model shown, which is sleeker and has a spoiler. I also made sure to include its Infiniti variant which can be found in the next vehicle entry.

2000-2004 Infiniti I30 / I35 (A33)
This luxurious model of the Maxima genome was based on the global Maxima platform, where the A33 was sold as the Maxima QX in Europe and the latter name in Australia. The Infiniti model has a charming look and has some class. Both photos are of the 2002 I35, which had a bigger engine.

2004-2016 Aston Martin DB9 (Exotic car)
The definitive 21st century grand tourer from Aston Martin Lagonda, Limited. A powerful V12 makes this a unique vehicle worth standing out to in a crowd, and yes, I included its Volante convertible model for variety. Though I could not find NA-spec photos, this model is sold in the US, and some celebrities own this very model.

2025-present Cadillac Escalade IQ
So far, Cadillac's larger EV cousin is becoming successful. Journalists are currently reviewing this model, and with it out to paying customers, I wouldn't miss out on this ride. I plan to add additional Escalade models sometime later, but this sleek EV variant looks cool.

Re: Proposal of typical vehicles for AI traffic that are still missing (tbc)
Here is today's future AI vehicles to add into ATS.
First, we want to cover a three-in-one saga of American sedans that are nothing more than badge-engineered platform vehicles from Ford Motor Company. Each one and its facelift is outlined below.
2006-2012 Ford Fusion (CD338)
This was what buyers had back when the Fusion went on sale in 2006. (Yes, there was an older Fusion but that was for European markets.) This sedan - alongside all of its cloned models - was built in Mexico. Not the most reliable vehicle but it's cheap.

2006-2010 Mercury Milan (CD338)
A supposedly upscaled version of the Fusion with an AWD option. Still has Ford qualities though.

2010 facelift - funnily enough, it does look nice despite it only being around for a model year before the brand collapsed

2006 Lincoln Zephyr (CD378) (renamed MKZ from 2007 onwards)
Yet another copycat of the Fusion. Lincoln revived the Zephyr nameplate, which hadn't been around since the 1940s, and initially built a concept car on that platform in 2004 before it became a model name two years later. Customers did not like the name, so in its second model year, Lincoln renamed it as the MKZ and gave it a redesigned grille.

1993-1997 Cadillac Fleetwood
Sure, it might look very similar to the 1994 DeVille, but those two aren't exactly the same vehicle. But back in the 1990s, the final-generation Cadillac Fleetwood was retrofitted in various forms, such as a hearse or a six-door limo. An ultra-premium sedan for the high class, now turned into rolling wrecks. Beater version available as standard.

2015-2024 Nissan Murano (Z52)
For the third-gen Murano, Nissan made sure to encapsulate the corporate design language of the mid-2010s with all of their products, and that very style later found its way to the Altima and Sentra. This vehicle sold well to last nearly a full decade, and there's no reason why this can't be in ATS.

2002-2006 Chevrolet Avalanche (GMT805)
With the rising popularity of pickup-based SUVs at the turn of the century, it only seemed natural to break into the SUV/pickup combo format. The Avalanche did all of this back in 2002, being a direct adoption of the long-running Suburban SUV. I would recommend it.

2022-present Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV (X296)
This was the closest we will ever get to a EQC here in the US. While I am not sure why this was offered in lieu of the aforementioned model, this does make the case for more electric SUVs making bank on the gas/EV pantheon.
