Wheel Wont Work Right anymore

I use a Microsoft SideWinder steering wheel. It used to work just fine but in both ETS and ATS it stutters now. In these two games only. Although I used to be able to play them a-ok. When i try to look and steer at the same time the camera stutters a lot. and the wheel de-syncs quite a bit. It used to work too which is odd. Other games work fine with it, but its just these two SCS games.
