Not sure if this will help you at all with the proper trailer plates, but I found a website recently where you are able to generate your own plate. I've used it for custom plates on my in game trucks and I plan on using it for my scale models going forward.

Just select your state or as they call it, region, and another selection will come up for plate style, which Apportioned plates are available in the states I checked and a few seem to have separate plates for commercial vehicles. You can enter your own plate number too.

@racer7331, you are my MVP of the holiday season. THANK YOU for that. I haven't looked at the page yet but just by your post I know this will help immensely when I get ready to do the plates. I have to haul a load to Ashville, NC over the course of this week, but hopefully next weekend after New Years I can dive into this and make it happen

EDIT: WOW! I love that site!!!!!!! It is absolutely great. Too bad the images are so bloody small but I think for the purposes of the trailer pack I can still make them work. I mean, after all, the plates are such a small accessory on the truck that I don't think the textures have to be large at all, so I am going to slam into this over the next week to start making textures.

@Fae - Hi, I heard about an issue you were having with enabling the sounds for sliding tandems.

I'm quite sure you can get the sounds for sliding tandems to work on a modded trailer using an @include - the game didn't crash this way. Example I posted here: viewtopic.php?p=1996127#p1996127

And the sounds are taken care of by the Sound Fixes Pack if you don't want to be stuck with the sounds SCS uses

EDIT: Okay so on my local mod it works, but I cannot add this to my trailer pack. Steam uploader rejects it with the following errors, therefore this still can NOT be done for a mod for Steam:

Thanks for trying, though, mate. It was worth a shot. What fixed it locally for me was adding the full path, but Steam still rejects it. Ah well.

I have good news. The SCS Workshop Uploader has been updated with support for sliding_axle and sliding_axle_end sounds for chassis accessories, so it should now no longer be rejected now in 1.54

The mod works just fine, except for the reefer light not coming on, which Fae is aware of—unless you mean something else.

Hello. First, my apologies for the delayed reply. For some reason the forum no longer notifies me of updates to my own thread. Annoying.

So … major changes coming about for me. I am quitting trucking and going into a field where I will be home a LOT more and be able to start modding again. That’s what I am waiting on for me to fix things like the reefer light. I just had a good interview today, so depending on how that pans out, I will be done driving OTR by the end of 2 weeks. I’ll still be CDL, though, as the job I am going into needs a cdl driver.
