Crash in vanilla map

#1 Post by John-117 » 15 Sep 2025 21:15

I'll go ahead and say that I have several maps running on my install, but so far I hadn't experienced any crashed as a result of them until now.

The odd part, however, is that the location of my crash is in the vanilla map - SB I-15 in Idaho near the border w/ Utah (just after the pull-off Rest Area). I have no map mods affecting that area of the map.

Its not in the vanilla map.
The crash is cause by running 2 map mods that are not compatible with each other.

00:10:12.248 : <ERROR> Item duplication detected! 0x2F3B41B44B080001
00:10:12.248 : <ERROR> d:\buildbot\slaves\win_slave\final_build_ats_155_windows_bin_steam_x64\build\prism\eurotrucks\game\management\sector_task.cpp(53): ?execute@sector_load_task_t@prism@@UEAAXXZ: Failed to merge new sector data!

A number of your other mods are out of date and throwing errors that will eventually lead to crashes.

A 10 min game log should be a few pages long, not 300+.

The only map mods I'm running are Promods, Reforma+Sierra Nevada, and a paid mod that I shall not name here + the connection to Promods. I followed the load order from GMC Community's site. I hate to take a map mod out since I'm in the middle of a delivery.

On the topic of out-of-date mods, how do I tell which ones are out-of-date so I can remove them?

One of your map mods is at least 6-7 game versions out of date:

'/prefab/Custom_company/custom_company_13.ppd' version 22 to current version (25)
00:01:06.995 : [prefab desc] Converting prefab descriptor

This is map mod:

Real_Gas_Stations_Revival_Project

I believe this is a map mod:

Real companies, gas stations & billboards Extended

Promods, Reforma and Sierra Nevada look up to date.
The Gas Stations revival is a strong contender for being massively out of date and for conflicting with the other real companies mod.

If removing it doesn't fix the issue, then look into your paid mod.

Thanks, I'm no longer getting a crash but now I'm getting broken roads in Nevada near Reno/Elko

My load order is (top to bottom):
[*]Promods NA Background
[*] (All my other mods)
[*]GMC Misc Assets Updates
[*]Reforma Other Maps Compatibility
[*]No ferry b/w paid mod and mainland
[*]Promods Road Connection to paid mod
[*]Promods
[*]Reforma Sierra Nevada
[*]Reforma
[*] Traffic fix for paid mod
[*]Paid mod

Any good recommended order?

I don't use map mods, so I have no idea. As you use GMC files, check their load orders?
