The back half of this year can really prove to be a really busy year information wise. We got 204 blogs for 2024. I wonder if SCS tops that for 2025. We are only 40 blogs away and about 3 months to do it. With 2 map dlc's coming, several reworks in the works and whatever else that could be spoken of this year, it will be intriguing to see how things play out blog wise.
Do you know what the current number for 2025 is? I'm curious!

EDIT: I goofed...you literally said there's 40 left to beat 2024's total.

The count is self tracking. It always gives us the total.

Blog Summary for the Week of September 22-28, 2025

There were 4 new blog posts this week.

South Dakota, Louisiana, and Nordic Horizons got posts this week, as well as another SCS on the Road which highlighted their trip to the Ford World Headquarters in Michigan. The Nordic Horizons post is notable since it wasn't listed on the microsite prior due to it covering a recent event (though it has since been added)--in this case, highlighting the relocation of Kiruna's church, which will now be at its current and new location in the DLC! All in all, September was chock full of blog posts despite this week not being as active as the last couple.

Monday (22nd): No blog post
Tuesday (23rd): South Dakota: Grasslands and Forests
Wednesday (24th): SCS on the Road: Our Trip to Ford
Thursday (25th): Louisiana: Shreveport
Friday (26th): Nordic Horizons: Kiruna's 113-Year-Old Wooden Church
Saturday (27th): No blog post
Sunday (28th): No blog post

Next post: Sunday, October 5th.

As always, please let me know if I missed something!

Blog Summary for the Month of September, 2025

There were 22 total blog posts for September 2025, bringing the yearly total to 169.

After a quiet August (which was expected with folks on vacation), September was chock full of new and exciting things from SCS. We had blog posts all but eight days in the month, and we had a rarity, where we had a full week of blogs. We also had the gameplay preview for the upcoming Nordic Horizons DLC--one of the first signs that its release date may be sooner rather than later. Update 1.56 also released, and while it was mostly an under-the-hood patch, each game got some extra goodies: ATS got new dynamic (un-)loading cargo, and ETS2 got updates to the HS-Schoch and Schmitz-Cargobull DLCs, and a new Special Transport in the CZ LOKO locomotive.

October should be another month full of updates, but as always, we'll see for sure come the end of it!

Blog Summary for the Week of September 29-October 5, 2025

There were 5 new blog posts this week.

Louisiana appears again for the third week in a row, and this blog post highlighted some of the custom-made depots coming to the DLC. On the European side, We also got an Iceland and Scandinavia Refresh post. The Iceland one talked about Route 1, which circumnagivates the island. The Scandinavia Refresh blog talked about the Danish capital, Copenhagen, and how it was rebuilt from the ground up and some of the new depots that will be there, including an underground one(!!!). Friday's blog was an intersting one, with started with a literal TEAser on Twitter before the actual blog post, which all but confirms a UK Rework coming soon! The last blog post for the week was about SCS's annual Pinktober event, which raises awareness in the battle against breast cancer.

Monday (29th): No blog post
Tuesday (30th): Iceland: Ring Road
Wednesday (1st): Louisiana: Custom Made Depots
Thursday (2nd): Scandinavia Refresh: Copenhagen
Friday (3rd): How to: Proper Cup of Tea
Saturday (4th): Pinktober 2025
Sunday (5th): No blog post

Next post: Sunday, October 12th.

As always, please let me know if I missed something!

Hello, update 1.56 for ATS was not just an under-the-hood update, as we got new types of dynamic loading. Recorder cargoes—large pipes, logs, and utility poles—as well as scrap metal from the chipvan, are now included.

Blog Summary for the Week of October 13-19, 2025

Well how about that....we got blog posts every day this week!

2025's Halloween event kicked off this week, and it's a departure from the last few years as it features a dedicated event map, much like the Christmas event from last year. I've personally yet to participate (though that will be changing in a few hours), but from what I've seen so far, it seems the feedback has been mostly positive.

In terms of DLCs...we received news about Project Road Trip (in the form of an SCS on the Road post), Louisiana, and Nordic Horizons. A new truck was released on Tuesday for ETS2 in the DAF XF Electric which, like all electric trucks currently, are exclusive to Quick Jobs for now. Sunday's post confirms what the "cup of tea" video a couple weeks ago was all about...A UK REWORK IS IN THE WORKS!!

Lastly, SCS will be at Poznań Game Arena (PGA) this weekend in Poland! There will be playable demos of both Nordic Horizons and Louisiana among other goodies for those attending the weekend-long event.

Monday (13th): SCS on the Road: Dodge Challenger Hellcat
Tuesday (14th): DAF XF Electric Release
Wednesday (15th): Louisiana: Street Art & Statues
Thursday (16th): Witches of Brackenreach Event
Friday (17th): Poznań Game Arena 2025
Saturday (18th): Nordic Horizons: Fjords and Mountains
Sunday (19th): Project UK Rework

Next post: Sunday, October 26th.

As always, please let me know if I missed something!
