Ever hear of anyone being mad after a win? Well, I was after last Sunday. Craig Heyward, T.J. Watt & the defense finally wake up, somewhat (except on third downs of course :roll: ), but the offense sputters badly, didn't do nothing up the middle, and no points on the five New England turnovers. That game should have been a blowout in the Steelers' favor. Unreal.

Clippy, your Vikings looked like world-beaters Sunday, and your defense looks impressive -not surprising, with Brian Flores running that defense- you should consider him Pittsburgh's gift to Minnesota :lol:
If indeed Mike Tomlin gets the heave-ho if the Steelers miss the playoffs, I would love to see Flores front and center to take over as the Steelers head coach next year (we should have never left him walk in the first place IMO). Yes, Cinci didn't or doesn't have Burrow, but I still didn't figure the Bengals getting shellacked like that.

Next Sunday morning should be fun for both the Stillers and Vikes. I'm not a fan of games in Brazil, the UK, Germany or wherever, but the owners want to take the game to the international level, so we fans just have to sit back and take it. Ugh...
That said, the Steelers/Viking game pick is a coin toss for me -the Steelers will either finally get their act together on both sides of the ball, or it'll be a blowout in favor of the Vikes, with our defense making Carson Wentz look like Fran Tarkenton.

Week 4:
Seahawks @ Cardinals -> Seahawks
Vikings v Steelers -> Steelers
Commanders @ Falcons -> Commanders
Saints @ Bills -> Bills
Browns @ Lions -> Lions
Titans @ Texans -> Texans win the Arch Manning Bowl :lol:
Panthers @ Patriots -> Patriots
Chargers @ Giants -> Giants with The Upset Special. It has to be for Russell Wilson. He buys time with a win, or else he can kiss his NFL career goodbye.
Eagles @ Buccaneers -> Buccaneers
Colts @ Rams -> Rams
Jaguars @ 49ers -> 49ers
Ravens @ Chiefs -> Chiefs
Bears @ Raiders -> Bears
Packers @ Cowboys -> Packers
Jets @ Dolphins -> Dolphins
Bengals @ Broncos -> Broncos
The first job is to 'drain the swamp'...although that's kind of hard to do when you're up to your rear end in alligators..

Yeah Flores is definitely our best DC since Leslie Frazier in the late 2000s, I bet he will get another head coaching chance. Hopefully he stays for a year or two more. I get a lot of enjoyment watching us play good defense, similar to the Steelers it's a part of our historical identity so it really stings when we let up a ton of points. Hard to say how Wentz will do against a stronger opponent, but as long as the defense keeps playing well we'll at least have a shot at winning games.

Sounds like it's now gonna be Jaxson Dart's job to pull off the upset special, absolutely wild how Russ went from 450 yards one week to getting benched for a late first round rookie the next.

I am sure there will be mad numbers watching for the Micah Parsons vs Dallas Cowboys reunion. That will be highly watched to see what Micah does to us. Its not gonna be pretty.

Flores has too good of a football mind to NOT be a head coach.

I hear you on the "historical identity", as far as the Vikings/Steelers defenses of old. For me, it does hurt watching the two old guys that make a combined almost 60 million/year do absolutely nothing until last week. I mean for goodness sakes T.J. Watt went O-fer in sacks in his last six games before waking up last week. And Cam Heyward himself has been invisible all year, hopefully he too has finally woken up.

I still think that the Vikes have a much better defense today than Pittsburgh does, and defense wins games, supposedly (it did anyways for Pittsburgh last week, although barely). But since the game's overseas, the time difference and jet lag will affect both teams good and bad, so IMO it's still a coin toss and anyone's game to win.

I just caught wind of that this morning. Myself I kind of thought Wilson was done with the NFL after his poor showing in last year's Steelers AFC wildcard game against the Ravens. I'm surprised he made it this far TBQH, but the football Giants were desperate for a veteran starting QB, so it's understandable.

The NY fans and the national media overall have been calling for Jaxson Dart since week one, and they finally get their wish?
Who knows, it may be just like 2004 and Dart may be a Ben Roethlisberger 2.0 :lol: : the rookie who loses his first game, but yet makes a good showing, then runs the table and wins every game clear into the playoffs. I get it that was 21 seasons ago, the NFL is a different beast these days, but stranger things have and do happen in the NFL...it'll be a good game to keep an eye on for sure.

Yeah it's always interesting to see how rookie QBs react to the intensity of the NFL. Especially nowadays with the college game being so different and very few schools running NFL-style offenses anymore, it's a big adjustment. Part of what made Jayden Daniels and Bo Nix so impressive last year.
