You have proof of that statement? Every licensed truck through SCS has to be approved by the manufacturer.ScaniaMANIveco wrote: ↑29 Sep 2025 17:14 I seriously doubt that every single truck shown in December of 2024 is awaiting for manufacturer approval.

Perhaps I wasn't very clear. I meant that I don't think that every truck shown back then is still stuck waiting for manufacturers approval.Runoff_975 wrote: ↑29 Sep 2025 18:00 You have proof of that statement? Every licensed truck through SCS has to be approved by the manufacturer.

Either way, your statement is the same. Either way, where's your proof. We can't go off what you think. Your statement is your thinking, your opinion. It has no factual data to it. Unless you have hard facts, you, I nor anyone outside of SCS vehicle department knows that answer. If we saw working models, then we'd have to think that everything is getting work and started...and not just a thought.ScaniaMANIveco wrote: ↑29 Sep 2025 18:03Perhaps I wasn't very clear. So what else is there? SCS is holding it just to hold it? Nah. Between approvals and missing information like I stated earlier is the hold up. So it may not be just approvals. You didn't quote the part I stated about missing information. SCS has said many times that they have missing information on things sometimes as well. Interiors, exteriors, sounds...anything can delay the process if they don't have what they need to release a truck.

Yes BUT if I say some of the trucks have already been approved, no one has proof to say I'm wrong.Runoff_975 wrote: ↑29 Sep 2025 18:00You have proof of that statement? There might be approved truck just waiting to be released. No one can say SCS don't hold anything.

I can't be bothered to argue with you. If you want to believe that all those trucks are still stuck waiting for approval after 10 months, go right ahead.flight50 wrote: ↑29 Sep 2025 20:06 Either way, your statement is the same. They already announced two car packs, made blogposts about them, even made two 3D model showcase streams, one about a modern Dodge Challenger and the other one about a classic Dodge Charger. There are also blogposts about coaches for ETS2. Yet nothing about trucks. The difference? Cars and coaches will be a part of a paid DLC's, while trucks are free. So after seeing such different approaches, no wonder that some people start to think that it is at least partially about money.

Re: Kenworth Trucks Discussion Thread
It wasn't in a few weeks. They were working with the manufacturer in advance. It was most likely less than a year, but definitely not a few weeks.SergeyKenga wrote: ↑29 Sep 2025 14:03 The fact that SCS released the limited edition w900 in literally a couple of weeks suggests that, if truly desired, a truck could be made much faster than a year.
A few of us agree, but SCS promised that trucks would be free. And the community would crucify them if they go back on that. Buses and cars were never promised to be free, so we get paid DLC for those.SergeyKenga wrote: ↑29 Sep 2025 14:03 Personally, I suspect the only reason it's taking so long is because the new trucks are being released for free, not as separate paid DLC. Personally, I think it's better to pay and get the new content much sooner rather than several years later.
There's still 3 months of the year left and you missed the most important part. There was never a promise that any of that content was for 2025, it's reasonable to expect that some it is, but some is definitely 2026 (or later).SergeyKenga wrote: ↑29 Sep 2025 14:03 After all, what's the point of a New Year's stream with content for the coming year if, throughout the year, we get completely different content that has nothing to do with the New Year's stream? Don't think I'm being unreasonable. I've been patiently waiting all year, checking the news every day, and haven't written a single negative review. It's just that now the New Year's stream looks like a mockery to me.

No you can't argue because you don't make sense. You can't compare cars, coaches and trucks. They are a different process. They deal with totally different type of manufacturers. Coaches and PRT just came about so of course they talking refresh about them because they have to promote them as they are dlc's. But even they have been in the works for more than a year, they didn't just spring out of nowhere. Coaches is an even older topic but you want to bring that up. But of course you are ignoring that info when SCS said that. But its hard to try to teach some of you processes. So no, don't argue dude. Continue to complain about why things don't happen like you want them to every single week like you always do. Every week you complaining about lack of info on something.ScaniaMANIveco wrote: ↑29 Sep 2025 21:32

The topic was about a reworks T680 and where's the W990. At anytime SCS could have stepped in and said it's coming or give something like Carthoo use to do. Instead you guys come in when things go left only.
