Re: Kenworth Trucks Discussion Thread
I would like to see the W990, from the pictures they showed, it looked pretty damn close to completion(the exterior anyways) But, I will not be surprised if we don't see any trucks this year. I've gotten quite use to keeping my hopes low.

Re: Kenworth Trucks Discussion Thread
I wouldn't give up hope until 1.57 releases. Trucks are dlc's and can come at anytime, but for the most part, we get them when an update goes public. I still won't rule out a new truck being on the cover of Louisiana. That truck would then definitely release for 1.57. Either day one or within a few weeks of the update going public, new trucks then to popup then. They typically don't come in an aged update. I think there is still a shot at something this year. Otherwise, 2026 could potentially be loaded for ATS perhaps.
If the NGT680 was a major piece into getting the W990 released, then we finally got a completed NGT680 awhile back. Other than a rework of the older T680, I don't see a Kenworth coming anytime soon. SCS did go to a classic truck show not to long ago. Fantasy world for me... I'd love to finally get a K100 in the game officially from SCS. That would give Kenworth one heck of a roster.

Insults to SCS now brings warnings. Beware.

Carthoo doesn't work here anymore, but remember to stay tuned to our blog and social media for news about new trucks

Re: Kenworth Trucks Discussion Thread
Yeah Carthoo is long gone. He left during covid. 2020 iirc. I got a chance to hang out with him for 3 days at GATS in 2019 at least. But yes I'm always looking for blogs considering teasers won't happen anymore.
I do wonder when we can get another Christmas gift though. That one year we got the NGT680 that wasn't complete was cool. A follow up for that can be the W990 as a Christmas bonus. Even ATS's bday would be a nice present. It will mark ATS's 10 year mark. I'll take a W990 / K100 combo if you guys want to give it though. I won't complain...I promise lol.
With PRT and its range of generational vehicles, hopefully you guys can start doing that for semi trucks. Someone like Kenworth would be a great start for a run on classics with the K100. With all the truck shows that go on in North America, surely someone will be more than happy to let SCS reference their truck for sound and image purposes. There might even be a K100 imported to Europe for reference.

Re: Kenworth Trucks Discussion Thread
I really liked that Carthoo gave some info on the forum. The blog and such are too "official", it's not the same. It's not discussion, it's not "friendly" idk... I really miss that time.
Now I come here to react to news or rumors but it seems I only complain
I admit I act like an as$ hoping for things and being disapointed all the time
