Re: SCS General Nonsense Thread
Oh, well, now it seems the reason why the teaser hinted at by Nemiro was suddenly postponed has become clear.
The entire SCS department was trying to brew tea properly, but someone used the microwave, which led to unforeseen consequences.

Yorkshire tea, that means only one thing:
ETS2 is a perfectly balanced game with no exploits whatsoever. And there's a man who will prove it, with the power of a nice cup of Yorkshire tea.

Re: SCS General Nonsense Thread
I have a quick question, do you think 7 500 km driven yesterday and today (total) in ETS2 is a lot in?
ETS2/ATS player since 2016
Current total distance driven:
ETS2: 2 151 508 km (1 336 885 mi)
ATS: 1 000 065 mi (1 609 448 km)

I can already see the internet breaking. The real question is if we will keep the same scale or switch it up to 1:19

Very nice announcement, albeit expected. I just hope Going East will get some love as well at some point
. The situation is a bit like this:

(yes, I know 1.56 finally added a few things in Romania)

Re: SCS General Nonsense Thread
That was probably the big surprise online then, but it seems Nemiro wanted to wait for final confirmation. Maybe during the week he mentioned it, things were still uncertain or not yet locked in. When people talk about tea or how to make it, it's clearly code for the UK rework.
I've been hoping for this since 2018, so it's exciting to see it finally moving forward. The real question now is when it will happen? and how the team plans to handle it? This is likely the biggest project they've taken on in a long time. My guess is Mid-to late 2026 or early 2027. Unless they hired more people for this project.
Side Note:
I love Windows 11. I upgraded the day it was offered as soon as it was released. I think it's cleaner and more modern than Windows 10.
