I am still waiting for SCS to finally implement a time schedule for open gates. We are getting way too many closed gates during daylight hours. 80% of gated depots in the game can be open from like 6am to 6pm. It becomes a huge issue when having to wait for gates to open when the drive lane is very very close to the street and we are having to make a left hand turn into the depot. We block a lane of traffic and this isn't realistic in most cases. We need a schedule to when gates are open during peak business hours.

To my knowledge, this is on the to-do list and its not as complex as other programming. It would be nice to get this for 1.57 finally.

With 2 map releases, 3 events, end of year, 1.57 didn't comes 2 months ago, devs leaving for holidays in a month, zero chance it's safe to kick out DX12 for 2025. People expecting it fie 1.57 are not being realistic at all imo. Iirc, dx11 went 1-2 updates before it was implemented officially. I expect dx12 to be similar

Flight50 SCS Software said that a DX11/DX12 hybrid solution will be implemented.

@raskol again you said something that isn't true. SCS said in late 2024 that internally they switch to temporary solution of hyrbid dx11/dx12. But the final product will be an implementation of dx12 into both games.
I dont understand how you can spread lot of fake news lately and use some words/terms which you dont know the meaning of it. Next time you write something check what actually you are writing and educate your
self. Cuz you are writing lots of nonsense.

Doesn't DX12 need to be implemented before they release for consoles? If that's the case, that'd mean the console version won't release until winter 2026 if DX12 comes that late.

^Do you have information that SCS said consoles is releasing winter of 2026? DX12 would have to come well before that. It needs to be stable for pc first before they can get things going for consoles. Trying to get both stable at the same time can be a nightmare. I doubt they'd want to do the work twice.

Consoles more than likely need both multi core and dx12. I don't know how console architecture works but I highly doubt they are set up to run mono core like ATS/ETS2 currently are. They have multiple cores and offers universal stability across all hardware platforms if everyone has the same spec machine....which consoles basically do.

They can run mono-core, but if SCS wants the game to perform well with decent graphics then Multicore is a MUST, no questions about it.

Also, at that show they did in Poland a week ago, they had a working version of the game on a console, a PS5 i think, no idea how good that was running but based on that, i would assume that DX12/Vulkan and Multi-Core update is not that far away from PC, it could be the first thing we see in 2026 with 1.58 as an experimental beta and be stable enough for consoles by 1.60, just speculations obviously but i doubt it would take until December 2026 for us to see those changes.

1.58 experimental dx12 and multi-core would be sweet. Maybe we'll get some news for the xmas stream. This makes sense to me though. Get the 2 map dlc's out first so that they don't have issues trying to run on the new updates. Getting them on the current engine setup doesn't cost them time or money. After we get NH and Louisiana...........thennnnnn worry about dx12 and multi core. We waited this long, why not wait a little longer. At least we can get some new maps on a stable version that we've been playing. The the next map after NH and Louisiana is probably Illinois and that is a Summer map more than likely. If Illinois is 1.59/1.60, that gives experimental 1-2 updates to get stable.........just like dx11 did.

So if we can get some map reworks incrementally for the base map between now and the console release, that would be ideal. Hopefully ATS doesn't release the base map in its current condition. Consoles needs the entire base map rebuilt. I'd be embarrassed to see the ATS base map on NG consoles in its current state.
