OMG! I can now drive through Vegas, LA and San Fran with 400% scaling, high mirror distance, low grass, x16 Anisitropic filtering, TAA at night and it looks gorgeous. (60fps, 1080p at 60hz) (Caveat = traffic set to 0.3 in cfg file because it was causing major CPU bottleneck, but I will experiment with increasing that soon)
I highly recommend using ChatGPT (signed in - it's smarter and more helpful that way).
In short it involves adding launch options to Steam customized to your system, choosing DirectX11 when launching the game, and forcing Steam to use GEProton (via ProtonUp) for compatibility.
