Here's the Wild Card round's results:

And the standings:

After coming dead last in the regular season pick'em game, I must have been saving my luck for the playoffs. 6-0 is the most wins in a perfect week so far (we had a couple 2-0's during the Conference Championships last year). I'll take the wins where I can get them

Here's the Divisional Round template. The deadline for the first game is Saturday, January 17th at 4:30pm EST. There are two Saturday games and two Sunday games.
Bills @ Broncos ->
49ers @ Seahawks ->
Texans @ Patriots ->
Rams @ Bears ->
Good luck!

Re: NFL (American) Football Pick-Em Thread 2025
I think I still like my prediction of Rams over Bills, but I want to see Bills over 49ers. Don't need the Rams to get another ring, and don't want the Bears to make it back to the Super Bowl before the Vikes do, again. Don't want Darnold to lose, but I think it'd be really funny if the 49ers managed to limp their way to a Super Bowl appearance, and I like Purdy and McCaffrey.
Although that would mean the Bills would leave the 0-4 Super Bowl club, leaving the Vikes all alone

Nice going clip, picking those winners when it counts!
So much for that Monday night win-loss record
Last night was a good game, sort of. Regardless of what the scoreboard said, the Texans dominated throughout. The Steelers' defense couldn't do more than it already did in that game, and by the 4th quarter they were simply gassed, then it was lights-out for the Black and Gold.
It doesn't help when the defense gets three turnovers but the offense goes 0-fer on putting any TD's up...and way too many third-and-long situations.
A bit of trivia that I did catch last night: if this was indeed Aaron Rodgers' last game in the NFL, he and his mentor Brett Favre will share quite a dubious distinction -both will have thrown pick-sixes on their very last pass thrown in their careers.
As far as the NFL goes, I will now also be rooting for the Bills.
As far as the Steelers nation goes it's onto 2026-27 and the Aaron Rodgers watch starts now. That'll keep my attention somewhat to football to see what he does. Personally, I hope he comes back for one more year to train Will Howard and maybe a new QB draft pick if the Steelers do indeed pick one up.
Until then, I'll be moving onto pucks for now. Let's go Pens!

The first job is to 'drain the swamp'...although that's kind of hard to do when you're up to your rear end in alligators..

Favre's last play as a Packer was a pick, but not a pick six. Brady threw a pick six in his last play as a Patriot, funny enough.b_l_e_1 wrote: 13 Jan 2026 17:34 A bit of trivia that I did catch last night: if this was indeed Aaron Rodgers' last game in the NFL, he and his mentor Brett Favre will share quite a dubious distinction -both will have thrown pick-sixes on their very last pass thrown in their careers.
Favre's last play in the NFL was getting knocked out cold on the frozen Minnesota Gophers field against the Bears, so his last pass would have been right before that, an incomplete pass to Visanthe Shiancoe. The drive is the second Vikings drive in the 2nd quarter here: https://www.espn.com/nfl/playbyplay/_/gameId/301220016 Not a good football memory for me
