Hopefully Asian Turkey will be released all at once, but if Turkey can't be released as a standalone country, they could adopt a strategy like this:
Aegean: Western Turkey up to Ankara + Greece + Cyprus
Anatolia: Central Turkey up to Trabzon / Diyarbakir
Road to the Caspian Sea: Eastern Turkey + Caucasian countries and southern Russia

I hope SCS considers adding this to Possible Turkiye DLC. This flag pole is located in Kavak District in Samsun Province

Manavgat & Side: The Critical Economic and Historical Pillar for "Soul of Anatolia" DLC

#13 Post by Unal » 16 Apr 2026 07:34

Dear SCS Software Team,

As a resident of the region, I would like to provide essential insights into the Antalya-Manavgat-Alanya corridor. To truly honor the title "Soul of Anatolia," this region must be depicted as the national powerhouse that it is, blending massive tourism logistics with unparalleled history.

Here is why Manavgat and Side are indispensable for a realistic Turkish experience:

1. Dominant Capacity (The 30% Rule): According to 2024/2025 official Ministry reports, Manavgat holds approximately 30% of Antalya’s total bed capacity with over 200,000 certified beds. In 2025 alone, it reached 24 million overnights, making it the second most popular destination in Turkey after Istanbul. This volume creates a massive, non-stop logistics demand for supplies.

2. Structural Logistics (Mega-Resorts vs. Boutique Hotels): Unlike Alanya's urban boutique hotels, Manavgat hosts the highest concentration of 5-star mega-resorts in the country. These complexes function like "industrial zones" for truckers, requiring large-scale, daily supply chain operations.

3. The Historical Power of Side: Side is a world-renowned ancient city. Including the iconic Temple of Apollo and the Ancient Theater as distant scenery or "Photo Trophy" landmarks near the D400 highway would capture the true "Soul" of Anatolia. Side is the global face of this region’s historical heritage.

4. Modern Agriculture (Bananas & Blueberries): Manavgat has evolved into a high-tech agricultural hub for Banana and Blueberry production. Adding specialized "Agricultural Depots" would offer a unique reefer cargo experience for players.

5. Scenic Landmarks (Manavgat River & Waterfall): The D400 passes over the wide Manavgat River. Including the iconic bridge and a view of the famous Manavgat Waterfall would be a major visual highlight.

6. Regional Parity & "The Three Pillars": Historically and economically, there is a strong parity between Manavgat and Alanya. They are the two largest independent economic ecosystems on the coast.

Final Conclusion: Antalya, Manavgat (Side), and Alanya represent the three most powerful pillars of the Mediterranean. While I am aware of the 1:19 scale constraints, I have absolute faith in SCS Software’s talent. You have proven you can create miracles in tight spaces. I truly believe you can find a way to represent all three of these icons to ensure a balanced and realistic Mediterranean experience.

Best regards,

The Strategic Importance of Polatlı (Ankara) for "Soul of Anatolia" DLC

#14 Post by fatih_066f » 19 Apr 2026 14:34

Hi everyone and SCS Team,

As we are all excited about the recently announced "Soul of Anatolia" DLC, I would like to share a suggestion regarding a very strategic location: Polatlı (Ankara).

Polatlı is not just an ordinary district;
it is one of the most critical logistics and industrial junctions in Central Anatolia. Here is why it would be a perfect addition to the map:
Logistical Hub (E-90 / D200): Polatlı is located on the main E-90 highway. It is the mandatory passage for trucks traveling between Ankara and major cities like İzmir, Bursa, and Antalya. In real life, thousands of trucks pass through this route every day.

Diverse Industry & Agriculture: Known as the "granary of Turkey," the district features massive grain silos and a large Organized Industrial Zone (OSB). This offers great opportunities for players to carry agricultural machinery, food products, and industrial cargo.

Visual Landmarks: * Gordion: A UNESCO World Heritage site that would be perfect for a "Viewpoint."
High-Speed Train (YHT) Viaducts: The sight of the high-speed train crossing the highway would be a great dynamic element.
Sakarya Martyrs' Memorial: A landmark that defines the city's silhouette.

Scale & Pacing: Being 80km away from Ankara's center, Polatlı provides an excellent industrial "buffer zone" before entering the capital, making the drive more realistic and less condensed.
I believe adding Polatlı would provide a much more authentic Turkish trucking experience. I would love to hear what the community and the developers think about this!

Best regards,
