Hey Tarso. Thanks for this tutorial - it's working for me
I now have 1.49 versions of ATS and ETS2 (with all the map mods that haven't been updated yet), and also the latest current versions (1.50). All working without having to redownload each time.
Great stuff! Thank you.

Awesome. Still works. Now I can switch between pancake and VR with a couple of clicks. Saves me copy pasting configs, changing controls, downloading betas and more. Excellent. I so appreciate this!!!!

Sorry, I have no Mac computer here to check if the method works in their file structure, maybe you can check if it can correlate and share/add to the thread

I have an easier way:
Copy the workshop mods from the appropriate workshop content folder for each game to the offline mods folder for each. (for Windows, My Documents\<game>\mods) same place you put the downloaded offline mods you get from outside of Steam.
Launch each game once with Steam in online mode, then exit. (For whatever reason, the game really doesn't recognize the numbered steam mods in the offline mod folder properly till you do that once.)
Set Steam offline.
Launch each game, fixing mod settings so they pull from the offline mod folder, not the Steam content folder.
Load both games from Steam in offline mode, no problem, assuming you have the RAM to handle it.
Default path to Steam content/mod folders for each game:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\227300 (ETS2)
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\270880 (ATS)
World of Trucks and Steam achievements care not at all in these two games about whether Steam is online or offline. Other games may not work the same way, but these two do.
The other slightly related curve ball on this is that if you get an event item, such as the St. Bernard from Switzerland event, you have to be launched with Steam in online mode to place it in your truck in the config screen. It will stay fine after that, either mode.
Same for new DLC, requires an online mode launch to get the new DLC linked to World of Trucks properly, but once linked, it's fine either mode.
