Re: Rigid chassis addon by Kast (27.04.26)
hi everyone, is there a way to change the offset of the rear wheel and tires? i'd love if they were a bit more outward but 3d software is definitely out of my reach. thanks

You could make a mod with the def-files for the tyres and rims that you're using. Metric system is used, ex 0.001 means 1 mm. Use - before for negative value.
You may have to experiment with the values a bit to get it right. Sometimes it feels like it should be an increased value, but actually you need to reduce it. Just trial and error.
- In the tyre definition you adjust the rim position on the axle with this line
Code: Select all
rim_shift: 0.000- In the rim definition you adjust the tyre position on the rim with this line
Code: Select all
tire_shift: 0.000-

@abasstreppas sorry for the consecutive messages. the rim_shift parameter does not appear to exist (the game's log says so), also i've always noticed it is the rim that defines the tire centerline (which is then offset by the tire_shift parameter). what am i doing wrong? thanks

Yeah, you're right. You can't move the rim, only the tyre. It's been some years since I last fiddle with those parameters. Must have forgot. The rim_shift parameter should work though (it has to be in the tyre def) as I have it in my def files, but what I remember now it only affect the collision for the tyre, like when you use wide tyres on the rims that not "center" correctly. Like if you hit a curbstone it should actually correlate when the tyre touch it.
Sorry about it

No problem
it should be wheel_shift rather than rim_shift then. anyway the fenders should also be adjusted to match the wider stance so i think a wider modification would be needed

Re: Rigid chassis addon by Kast (27.04.26)
Hello. I'm using the Kast Addon with ProMods 2.82. I couldn't deliver my shipment at Bon Mart in Kiel using the Kast Addon. I didn't have this problem at the same location with a semi-trailer truck. I've already reported this to ProMods, but I'm not sure if it's a problem with the addon or ProMods. This all worked under version 1.59. The coordinates of the unloading point are attached.

I don't think the Bussbygg side marker slots are working on the truck rigid box.
