^That's why I put a + behind the 3. I don't know exactly how long but I know it won't be less than 3 years. It took close to a year to go from 1:35 to 1:20 for 3 states for a single map team of around 7-10 back in 2016/2017. There are 4 total map teams for ATS now. Most teams are 11-13 people deep now. For as many mappers there are, there are about the same needed for asset creations.

Indiana could take about 12-13 months and we'll get around this time next year give or take a month or two. Its crazy to think it would take 24+ months on a much larger scale to do Indiana.....I'll pass. I don't have all day to play and many of us don't have that type of time.

No scale up but I'll tell you what, Gary needs some space. I'm curious just how much of Lake Michigan gets a chuck taken away from it so that Gary industry fits in North of I-90. Gary missing the coastal stuff will just fill wrong to me. With the cheap cheat to add land, Gary should be compact but rich with industry imho. We've seen SCS cram a lot in cities. Gary needs that touch. I think it'll be okay. Like I mentioned once, Gary is capable of a hand full of depot imo. Less than 5 isn't ideal though. The size of these depots will eat up space but that's why they should use Lake Michigan to gain space. Its thin between I-90/I-94 and the coast.

If trend for multiple city blogs keep rolling, I'll be looking for a Gary blog to see if we can get some details on what's coming.

Honestly, Im wondering how they will do the three rivers that flow through Fort Wayne, which is one of the iconic parts of the city and surrounding area.

Depends on the roads we get thru Fort Wayne. We know I-69 is a lock but we have no idea what else we get.

Very true. The only other major roads that I can think of that we could get would be I-469, US-30, and US-24 with US-27 and US-3 up in the air.

I didn't see any coastal roads you can actually see Lake Michigan from when I was looking on Google Maps for Gary. I legitimately don't think we are getting a coastal view outside of anything except maybe a viewpoint, there just isn't viable roads for that even IRL, much less in-game with the scale. If others know big roads to view the coast from let me know, I would be interested to see it.

The closest msjor highway to Lake Michigan in Indiana is US 12, the Dunes Highway. There aren't many roads right along the coast due to the dunes. There are a few potential locations for a viewpoint though.

Indiana Dunes State Park's Porter Beach is located due north of IN 49, although the views from the parking lot aren't the best.

There is this road near Kemil Beach (between IN 49 and Michigan City) that could potentially provide scenic views along Lake Michigan although it might be too small for trucks.

Michigan City has a great view of Lake Michigan at Washington Park Beach, which has a large parking lot right next to the lake that includes a view of the Michigan City East Pierhead Lighthouse, the only lighthouse in Indiana. It's also the furthest from Gary so it might be the best option if there isn't much space.

Curious, does anyone think that Vincennes might be a scenic city at all? Since it was the first capital of the state before it was moved to Indy, I think that would be kinda cool. However, I wouldnt really expect it either.

It has a shot only if they connect US-50 to IL-1

Depends on the space needed for and between Terre Haute and the truck stops at I-64/US-41. And how far west I-69 is.
In theory IL-33, IL-441 IN-441 could reach Vincennes.
And regular semi-trucks can use Lincoln Memorial Bridge https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lincoln_Memorial_Bridge .
https://idot.illinois.gov/content/dam/s ... ridges.pdf
US-50 bridge, has a limit for height 14 Ft. 7 In. But that is well within regular trailer size.

Standalone 40' mode: EN 7.82 swap body, 20', 30', 40' or 2 x 20' trailer.

SCS hasn't ignored trailer height limits. They've given us route clearances based on the largest cargo that has to go under. They compensating for people that try to get cargo stuck. The Eisenhower Tunnel on I-70 is a prime example. Irl, its very limited.
