Is there a way for users to disable/hide avatars, either forum-wide or on a per-user basis? Some can be so unpleasantly distracting that it makes it hard to read threads. An example:

@ancipital Click on your username from the top-right of the page, select User Control Panel and then go to the Board preferences tab. Finally click on Edit display options from the left side menu and disable the Display avatars option. Those options have an effect on the whole forum.
