Re: Project Road Trip Discussion Thread
Why not? SCS have direct contacts with manufacturers. They can get the information about features right from the source. And if they can't, they have people whose whole job is to do research.
Why, in order to have a realistic experience in a simulator game (scandalous idea, I know, realism in a simulator, but bear with me), players have to google the trims and specs and run through several screens of checkboxes in the options?

Re: Project Road Trip Discussion Thread
I don't really have a problem with certain assists being allowed on everything, that's just standard driving game things and you can turn it all off if you want, my only problem is with the air/pneumatic suspension on everything and i hope for once they do things properly with the cars, for now is not a problem because it is super common to see a truck with that kind of suspension all around, but it will become a problem for the upcoming Ford CLT, which as we saw on the tease pictures, won't have air suspension in the back.

Does Gran Turismo or Forza restrict you? Genuine question, just curious.San_Sany4 wrote: 28 Jun 2026 19:47 Why not? SCS have direct contacts with manufacturers. They can get the information about features right from the source. And if they can't, they have people whose whole job is to do research.

Depends. In some ways they're less restrictive than ATS/ETS2 (wink wink nudge nudge adjustable final drives)

All assists in Forza and Gran Turismo are available for all cars doesn't matter how old or new they are.

Thanks.
If they don’t bother, I don’t see SCS setting a higher standard.

I don’t think this mention
I like too see SCS give us some small load
Or rent a uhaul or trailer like the company
Called Roadie UPS owned them u can look it up
Then we pick the load for that trailer and haul it
Sometimes they can put it in the truck bed to also

Just got to watching the gameplay video, and yikes, I feel like they were better off not showing that video. The sounds and physics were terrible. It looked exactly the same as driving the trucks, riding on lumber. I really hope a bunch of resources weren't wasted just to give us a subpar mod.

The irony, considering the very first teaser for Road Trip was... SOUND!

I'd have to talk to the other moderators for this forum, but I can promise you it wouldn't be removed from Workshop. So long as it's on the appropriate vehicle for the show/movie it counts as a replica as far as I am concerned.axl135 wrote: 28 Aug 2025 17:32 I wouldn’t be surprised if someone creates a “Dukes of Hazzard” paint job for the Charger.
