Without the intention of opening another can of worms here:
Are there also BF addons for the official ProMods packs or is that not necessary? I dunno whether ProMods only modify skins of SCS vehicles or also add new ones. I'd like to use BF with ProMods, but don't want to end up with mixed styles for flares.

Promods maps come a couple of traffic vehicles. So yes, you need a BF addon for it.

Sadly I play with no map mod and I plan not to add support for any of them.

@Trelokk - You have support for the SCS based traffic vehicles in ProMods already with the main Better Flares Traffic Addon mod and the Sound Fixes Pack

I guess I will just try. Even if a few vehicles should be missing it'll still look 10x better than without using the mod. In general, setting up ProMods is quite the effort, so let's see if I will even continue using them if SCS keeps up their accelerated updating schedule...

Also thanks from my side for the fast info. I've tried for a while to handle the game with vanilla flares, but it's just not good enough any more without BF.
