And TMP might really take off in ATS once Road Trip is out... and so will reckless driving, with all that horsepower under kiddie-NO-SELF-control.

On my last few cargo missions I’ve had a milk tanker from Aberdeen to Arvidsjaur in Sweden and currently hauling carrots from Honningsvag to somewhere in Sweden.

I’m sure there’s places much closer to Arvidsjaur where they can get milk, than paying €100k+ to haul from the UK and it would have turned to yoghurt or cheese by the time it got there. And I’m sure what carrots could be grown in the Arctic climate at Honningsvag would be retained for local consumption, not shipped to the agricultural regions of southern Finland!
Especially since real trade data is available online. However, neither SCS nor the community is interested in developing the game in this direction.

It looks like we won't receive the COACH DLC before August 31st.

Because SCS admit themselves they're not sure if they will have a demo ready for Gamescom by 26th. So there's no way they're gonna release the final product during or right after Gamescom.

We can only hope for a late 2026 release. That said, as I've mentioned before, many games could face disappointing sales during that period because of GTA 6 release.

To play devil's advocate on the whole GTA thing - how many people with niche enough interests to play a bus add on to a truck sim game on PC also have a console to be able to buy GTA 6?

I would say that generally, players of a niche genre games, like ETS2, are likely to also have interest in gaming in general and especially interested in a game that focuses a lot on driving like GTA.

Also, marketing and mindshare will be massively focused on GTA 6.
