How and when ETS2 counts the next day in "delivery log"?
My question is very simple and at the same time I couldt'n figure out its answer yet. It's about how the days are counted in "delivery log" screen. The day number is registered at the beginning or at the end of the job? And what time of the in-game day the day n turns to day n + 1? I play with timezones enabled so the answer with the timezone information is appreciated. Thanks in advance!

People can correct me if I'm wrong, but I think it uses the day from the in-game time that the delivery is made to determine the day.

At the beginning, see my screenshot and the comments added in green.kratov88 wrote: 10 Aug 2026 18:44day number is registered at the beginning or at the end of the job?
The game started on a Monday and I am only driving Monday to Friday while I'm skipping the weekends.
Note that the "used plastics" job says 498 (Monday) despite being over 1,400 km (so same-day delivery is impossible), it was delivered Tuesday or Wednesday.
Cheers

Internally the game tracks time in minutes from midnight CEST of the first Monday (if you save the game immediately you start a new profile the game time will be 600, because it is 10:00 CEST on that first Monday wherever you make your HQ). The delivery logs record both a start and end time (unlike profit logs, which only record a day number) and I would have expected the game to use the end time (from params[0]) not the start time (from params[15]). However, there is something that I've missed up to now which is that External jobs have the same value in both of those fields, so only record the end time whereas offline jobs have different values. From looking at my own data it would appear that the day number listed in the delivery log uses the start time value. Illogical in my opinion, but then so is not recording separate values for the start and end of external jobs.
Cheers, Steve
