Hi! Have a suggestion about the theme Pavel briefly told us a few years ago (he just mentioned the idea without explaining it). So, it's my understanding of a possible way to make it.
1. The problem it solves. I think the main problem of the games as they are now is a lack of a feeling of progress at the last stages of the games (actually not long after the start). The player has much more money than he can spend, the truck already has the best possible configuration, the company is working without him etc. The trucking process is still great, but the experience might be better if players have an appropriate goal to achieve in addition to trucking progress.
2. Possible solution. As a further extension of WoT idea, it'll be good to get external companies. A company could be created or participated in by any WoT user. Companies should make deliveries of a special kind of cargo from California ports as far as possible (the port and type of cargo are different every month). At the end of a month, the results of every company will be compared with each other in three categories: summary length of deliveries, summary weight of delivered cargo, and the smallest percentage of cargo damage. The winner of every category gets the advertisement inside the game.
3. Achievement. It adds challenge to the game and motivates players to play more, sharpen driving skills, and participate in the most sucessful companies. Companies has access to players profiles and can choose the best truckers to hire. New month - new goal, so players never get bored by it.
4. Future expantions of the idea. It has huge potential, like delivery chains, additional categories for challenge, additional prises like special companys' truck and trailers paintjobs, etc.

We already have virtual trucking companies where you work together with others and compare your results to other companies on Trucksbook, Trucky, Discord, Truckers MP etc. I think adding this feature to World of Trucks now would somehow be redundant and a waste of manpower at SCS.

Re: Suggestion for WoT External companies
I for one would participate if it was via WOT, but absolutely will not if via 3rd party apps. So there is a potential new audience here (and I imagine a bunch of people would switch from 3rd party tools to an official one if it existed, much like convoy).
That said it still may not be worth SCS's time and effort, but it would be really nice if WOT moved from an Alpha state at some point.

Absolutely, no mods, no third party platforms. Only pure vanilla SCS. And what sence doest it make without one public platform to rule us all?Madkine wrote: 12 Aug 2026 04:07 I for one would participate if it was via WOT, but absolutely will not if via 3rd party apps. Re: Suggestion for WoT External companies
I like the general idea of official WoT companies and competition between them, but I don't think advertising the winning company directly inside the game would work very well as a reward.
A WoT company could use the same name or branding as a YouTube, Twitch, Kick channel, or another external project. In that case, an in-game advertisement for the winning company could effectively become free advertising for something outside the game.
There is also considerable potential for abuse if an actual advertising opportunity depends on competitive results. Players could try to manipulate the results through multiple accounts, organised boosting, or other methods, meaning SCS would need additional moderation and verification.
We can already see with the current Featured Screenshots gallery how difficult it can be to ensure equal conditions. Some of the featured images look visually very different from what can be achieved directly in the game, while graphics mods, filters, or external post-processing can make evaluation even more difficult. This is not a major issue when the reward is simply having a screenshot featured, but if the reward were actual advertising inside the game, having a fair and verifiable competition would become much more important.
I think badges, trophies, profile awards, rankings, or other forms of recognition directly related to WoT would be safer rewards. They would still give the winning company prestige without turning the competition into a way of obtaining advertising space inside ETS2/ATS.
