Fps down 1.17.16 works fine 30-35fps after 10-13fps

1.17.16 30-35 and for my surprise in 1.17.20 10-13 and the last patch 15-17fps
my computer is low profile but always run in 30fps and now 15fps =/

Well mine was fluently on 45-60 but i get 25-40 too.

I find the FPS on my system is far more stable, it used to be all over the place, one minute at 50 - 60fps, the next stuttering like crazy, to the point the game was becoming unplayable,it would do this every few minutes. Yet now the stuttering is completely gone, and I get a much higher average fps. It's actually around 60fps a lot now, and I never get stutters, and slowdowns any more like I used to. What are the specs of your computers?

Mine:

CPU: Intel i3 4130 @ 3.4ghz

RAM: 8gb DDR3

Video Card: Radeon R9 280 3gb

HDD: 1TB WD Blue

OS Windows 8

They did say in the blog post though, that a lot of users will find their overall FPS is lower, but also a lot more stable. It used to be all over the place for me.

Also I find I've got a bit of a performance increase from the latest Beta AMD Video driver, which I installed for GTA V. So try updating your drivers too. Both Nvidia, and AMD released one recently.

Before installing the driver I would get around 45 - 50 fps on the game, with this new beta patch. But it would stay around there more frequently. Now its up to 60fps a lot of the time

My specs are similar to yours, thebigbadonion and in 1.16 with 200% scaling I got about 40-50FPS inside truck, and 60FPS outside. Stuttering wasn't too bad. Like the blog said, you may get a lower FPS, but it is stable. (Apart from when I get to any FLD made prefab.) Now I get about 35FPS-45FPS inside, and 50-60FPS outside. (Still with 200% scaling. Any lower and I can't see ) Stuttering is very rare for me now, and autosaves lag is completely gone.
Maybe I'll update my drivers too...

Yeah I use 200% too, with everything else set to max. I did have it on 300 for a while, dropped it on 1.16 when i started to get the frame rate problems. It didn't solve the stuttering but when it wasn't my fps was considerably higher, and I couldn't really tell the difference

I have everything on max, except mirror distance and quailty. The mirrors kill your FPS! I also usually can't tell the difference between 40FPS and 50FPS in this game. In other games I can, but not ETS2. But I certainly can see when it's 30...

this update is awesome! the frames rates across the board are great the cities are so much better and the skies wow! and my system is older mid range. good work SCS.

Same here.The first patch was perfect,but after getting new betas it is like 1.16 sometimes even worse.

I've read that v1.17 automatically enables v-sync..... You may want to turn it back off (if my first comment is right) as it can really affect your fps.
