Forum rules
SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. No Camera Symbol Mod v1.6 by SimTruck Design

Hello Community,

this is my small but nice "No Camera Symbol Mod v1.6". Generally this mod removes the viewfinder camera symbol of the in-game Photo Studio,
which gets originally visible by holding the left mouse button clicked.
Using this mod, you can take pictures with the Photo Studio and with SweetFX or ReShade Shader enabled.
All you have to do is to make your settings you wish with the Photo Studio, then hold left mouse button
clicked and press the key that you have set in the SweetFX/ReShade settings.
Now your screenshot gets taken with settings of the Photo Studio and SweetFX/ReShade effect visible.

Installation:

To install this mod, just put the downloaded mod file (.scs-file) into your mod folder of Euro Truck Simulator 2.
Usually you are going to find the mod folder in a file directory similiar to C:\Users\YOURNAME\Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2
In game you have to activate the mod in the Mod-Manager.

Information: Mod needs not a high priority in Mod Manager!

Supported Game Versions:

My "No Camera Symbol Mod" works only with the latest two game versions 1.37.x and 1.38.x

What do you get?

- Removes viewfinder camera symbol of the in-game Photo Studio
- Future updates guaranteed by SimTruck Design
- Clean log file without any errors (no yellow or red lines)
- Works perfectly with game version 1.37.x and 1.38.x

I'm sorry, but I don't understand, how this symbol disturb the game screenshoots? :roll:

@piva If you use a SweetFX or a ReShade Shader, you need to make the screenshots with Printscreen key (or other key you have selected in the settings of ReShade). But if you want to make good screenshots and use the settings from the ingame Photo Studio (where you can select Cyan, Magenta and Yellow colours and much more things) and if you want to scale or position your photo right, then you can´t use this Photo Studio for taking the screenshot because then the shader effect is not applied on the finish screenshot. You have to hold left mouse button and press the key from ReShade settings (you have selected). But here is the problem: This annoying camera symbol is in the way and you can´t take a screenshot with it.

Now my mod comes and removes this camera symbol. Hope you understand the sense of my mod now :D

- Updated the mod for game version 1.31 (mod works only on 1.31 now)
