[1.31]Iveco Stralis and Hi-Way: Break Lights Are Not Working on Handbreak and Retarder [NOT A BUG]

Hello,

Yesterday I was driving one of these trucks, and then another one and I noticed this: When I apply break, both trailer and truck break lights turn on. But when I use retarder or handbreak; break lights of; truck and trailer don't turn on. I don't know it is a bug or it is something specific for Iveco but I wanted to mention it. Although on retarder, break light must work, right?

I don't use any mods, anything changes game files or so. It was a Vanilla game.

Irl retarder and handbrake dont turn on brake light, especially not handbrake as the purpose would be none, truck is parked.

if you do not like real behavior, there is cvar that forces lights to turn on if any brake system is used.

That is odd. Th day I saw bug, I was using Iveco and Swarzmuller trailer. Yesterday I used same truck and trailer by chance and I saw that retarder works break lights. Looks like everything is fine.

If i am not wrong, in Germany both ways are allowed. Like you want, with retarder lights on, or off, doesn´t matter.
Anyways, not really important for me.
