I could be wrong, but SCS probably has contracted game testers, who have also tested their previous games. One of my good friends tested the entire Crysis series and says that it's not all that fun. He calls it 'Quality Assurance' and says he only did it as a stepping stone to make it in to the industry.

Muzz but guys from Crytek ask ''game testers'' they can be 5,6 or 7 i don't know.
And when they ask this testers who is funny and who is not 5 from 7 from them tell it's not funny this does not mean that others 100 will not like it...
They should ask guys from such places like this forum.Where have much registered players.
AMD FX-8370 Stock | Gigabyte 990FXA-UD7 | AMD Radeon R9 Gamer 16GB 2400MHz | Sapphire Radeon R9 Tri-X 290 OC | iNTEL 520 SSD 120GB | Kingston HyperX SSD 120GB | WD Caviar Black 64MB 1TB 7200rpm | NZXT Phantom white | NZXT HALE90 850W | Corsair H80i |

Speaking of blind, I think I'm going blind almost, having a tougher time then ever seeing whats on the screen, some crazy guy has been sending me skin suggestions today and I dont know if its a truck of a locomotive I'm looking at, I'm sure the skins are awesome, but I can barely see anymore, and I'm only 31.. :| Will be 32 in 4 weeks on the 15th ;P

What a great birthday present tho, I'm finally getting awesome company skins! :D

More on that in another post when its done;)

I have a real hard time in Assetto Corsa and BF4 to name a few, see curves coming up or some bloke with an M416 out to blow my head off! :D

Guess thats what I get for spending all days long for many years infront of this machine ;P

Btw, damn, never been this active on a forum in my life, I've become a regular forum monster and troll here :O what have you done to me!!!

They could do... But the majority of us here are only interested in playing it before everyone else gets the chance to... Never mind about the quality assurance, or bug logging ;) I'd imagine you'd get board visiting the same 50 yards of road again and again and again to find bugs and glitches :p

I assume they employ them, on a contract basis also. They're one of the biggest elephants in the industry so getting their games working as advertised is a priority :)

You don't just drive the same part of the road over and over again. You are also asked to drive to certain areas in a certain way and reproduce a bug that was reported to see if it was fixed or if something else is broken. You also get a chance to free drive but you also have to keep a very close eye out for bugs that may occur. I know because I was a Game Sage (moderator) and beta tester for Project torque for two years before the game was shut down.

At least SCS doesn't beta test their games the same way Micro$oft does Windows. Their code name for beta testers is "Paying Customers". [ external image ]

But no SCS beta tester....

I never really did that. We have the freedom to drive, sometimes they just ask for more information about certain errors but we can Free drive or do whatever we want. At least I guess so since that is what I am doing

Bad tester! Bad! :D You have to be punished, you'll have to wear Sebor's Nightmare (Diablo 3 ROS Legendery belt.) what it will do is electriute you when ever you move the slightest until you learn to be a good beta tester! :D Some say, it was crafted by Pavel Sebor him self and that he's really a demon :o
