AI speed limit, M6 south of Carlisle, UK

M6 south of Carlisle, heading north. 50mph speed limit through tunnel and the roadworks that follow. AI cars doing 70mph.

Have you ever driven on a UK motorway where there are supposed to be speed restrictions? That is perfectly normal behaviour.

Been a while since i've seen some idiot do 70mph through a SPECS enforcement zone. Noticed someone else reported a bug for getting a ticket for 11mph in the southbound side of the same section so I guess it's properly borked.

I didn't have the options enabled to get the co-ordinates at the time.

It never ceases to amaze me how many people continue to do 70mph+ in SPECS controlled areas (especially the one in the M25 south east towards the M20).
I always think of the look on their faces when they receive a nice notice in the letterbox.

To not open a new topic , i'll post here . The AI that pass me get in my lane and slow down ... one idiot cut in front of me inches and then almost stoped ... Mostly trucks do that . They pass me and then they slow down and I have to pass them myself - version 1.9.5.

O too have noticed this - it's as though there are different AI speed settings for each lane.

Trucks should NOT be doing approx 120 kph in lane 2, then pulling over to lane 1 (this is correct) and slamming on their brakes, slowing to around 85 kph.

You saw trucks doing 120kph?
Could you post the location of that and, maybe a short video?
Also, check if you have mods affecting the AI traffic - there are some speed parameters that were changed in 1.9.x version. If you don't adjust your mods, to fit the new parameters, you get unlimited speed for AI's, in some situations.

I agree with this, but with a slight difference. The cars changing into my lane, missing me by inches, happens a lot! Every now and then when AI traffic pull into my lane (not necessarily missing me by inches), they brake and I have to brake or swerve to avoid them. I have not yet (in v1.9.x) ran into any that did it.

Does anyone know of a thread where there is a discussion about the crazy things the AI traffic does. I have a few more I would like to mention.
