I have had two cars drive into my trailers whilst passing them at T Junctions. I have seen cars give way on Roundabouts. All in UK, as I started a new game vanilla and have stuck to UK jobs.

Then it dawned on me that the AI cars in the UK are giving way to the left. In the UK we give way to the RIGHT. You have right of way on a roundabout in the UK as you give way to the RIGHT. Same with the T Junctions and I still sit in the right of way lane behind AI cars giving way to the LEFT and emerging traffic.

It just is not how it is.

I Agree, the road layout are nothing like in the UK. Motorways are terrible for eg with slip-roads (always seem to be at flyovers??) basically slap bang in the inside (slow) lane. You would drive into the edge of the crash barrier or roll the truck trying to get back into the proper lane, or as in the game, crash into a vehicle in your outside lane. You DON'T have single lanes going across flyovers in the UK on motorways!?! The amount of crashes and holdups would be horrendous! There are no traffic lights at roundabouts either, UK has millions!
I would seriously like a complete re working of cities in the UK, Edinburgh (mine) has numerous landmarks; Edinburgh Castle on an extinct volcano doesn't get much more distinct! But anyway, roundabouts, motorways are needing work. Also, we are further North and would like to see SNOW as we get up here.
Please fix the UK as a whole please.

Valid points and I agree, but that is another topic. Lets say the roads in the UK are depicted as perfect, and the cars give way to the left and the whole system fails. AI cars in game are expecting me to stop for them, and I am not, and they stop for you unexpectedly on roundabouts etc. And those flyover one laners, you came off, turn tight to go under the road and then sit there behind an AI letting every car that comes down the slip road out. Its just not how it works here.

... and don't get me started on the tunnel just south of Carlisle on the M6. There's a big hill over Shap, but no flipping tunnel in real life!

This is a bug report about the new AI. I would like to know if it is going to stay this way in 1.9 when it comes out of beta. Giving way to the left in the UK is as fundamental as it gets for it to be wrong. I can understand the difficulty of having it change over for one part of the map, but i would like to know if it is staying this way.

So what exactly is the problem? Could you add a screenshot with some explanation please? Also coordinates of the place(s) where you encountered problems?

hippo which version of the game are you referring to, I have been using 1.9x since they released the public beta and traffic DOES give way from the right on roundabouts. (in the UK)

I will grab a few screen shot examples later when I get home.

On roundabouts, cars slow and wait for you, as they are giving way on the left. On roundabouts here we do not do this.

When leaving the main road and going under the road (turning right off the slip) the next slip is cars coming off the other direction, I sat behind a lorry giving way to about 12 cars coming down the slip to the left. But we had right of way.
